Chemotherapy is one of the most expensive medical treatments in the world today, but is it actually…effective? Thanks to alternative media and documentaries like the ‘Truth About Cancer’ series, more and more people beginning to question not only its efficacy, but also whether it actually does more harm than good.

Believe it or not that questioned may have been answered more than 40 years ago, when a shocking study was released that could have ended the chemo experiment — if anyone had been paying attention.

Dr. Hardin B. Jones, a former Professor of Medical Physics and Physiology at Berkeley, California, concluded after over 25 years of research not only that chemotherapy, radiation and surgery do not work and do not prolong a cancer patient’s life, but patients receiving these types of oncological treatments in many cases die much sooner than those who choose to be untreated. Treated patients also die a much more painful death.

“People who refused chemotherapy treatment live an average of 12 and a half years longer than the people who are receiving chemotherapy,” wrote Dr. Jones in the journal of New York Academy of Sciences.

In 1969 he presented his research at the American Cancer Society’s Science Writers’ Seminar, and the unbelievable findings still send shockwaves through the cancer industry to this day.

Chemotherapy does not work the way it is supposed to... 

Because chemotherapy kills the healthy cells sooner than it affects the cancer cells, the body is left weakened and defenceless against the disease. Adding big side effects of the toxins of the treatment on top, the human body is left barely holding on to life with no immune system to heal itself.

“It is not the cancer that kills the victim. It’s the breakdown of the defence mechanism that eventually brings death,” told Jones to MIDNIGHT. He and his wife considered what would they do if they were to develop cancer and both agreed that they would stay clear of mainstream treatments and instead do everything to keep the body in as healthy state as possible.

Jones’ Studies on Treatment with Vitamins

Jones’ research showed great potential for nutritional treatment. Doctors A. Hoffer and Linus Pauling analyzed and reported on Jones’ multiple studies. The findings show that on average cancer patients who followed a regimen of vitamins and minerals had 4 times longer survival time than patients who were not following the protocol. Their conclusion was that all cancer patients need to start this protocol as soon as possible. For people who would like to prevent cancer, it would be beneficial to also be on the same protocol just using lower dosages. The regimen included: a daily dose of 12 g Vitamin C, Vitamin B3, B6 and other B-Vitamins, folic acid, Vitamin E, beta carotene, selenium, zinc, and sometimes other minerals (note: natural vitamins and minerals are almost always the best choice; not all are created equal). Other parts of the treatment were following a healthy diet, and taking care of the patients’ mental health.


Jones’ Other Conclusions about Cancer

In 1969, American Cancer Society published Jones’ aforementioned presentation from the 11th Science Writers’ Seminar. Cancer biology was one of the main research topics for Jones and the subject of this talk.

“A Report on Cancer” delivered these conclusions analysing years of his research:

There is a strong link between carcinogens and cancer. 
Jones stated that the more the person was exposed to a carcinogen, the higher their risk of developing cancer is. Different carcinogens have a slightly different effect and timeframe, but the stronger the individual dose of carcinogen is – the less time it takes for cancer to develop. With so many carcinogens in today’s food, air and water, it’s no wonder why cancer rates been on the rise.

Surgery and radiation survival data is biased and faulty.


Jones provides multiple example of errors in the data when it comes to comparing rates in survival of those patients who went through surgery and/or radiation versus those who were untreated. Most studies he had seen did not count patients who died before the completion of their treatment.

Their deaths were omitted from the data as “rejected.” By defining two groups as treated and untreated, the treated group had to have finished the treatment in order to be counted in the study. The study looked at whether or not the patient survived after the surgery or operation was over, and those who died during these two types of treatment did not “meet the criteria” to be in the “treated” group, and were omitted. The longer the study was, and the more steps it had, the more errors were in the study, stated Jones.

Has Chemo’s Efficacy Changed? 

If you’ve ever met a cancer survivor you know that there are plenty of them out there who have undergone chemo treatments and survived (of course there seem to be far more natural survivors that are not counted).

And with the right nutritional protocol, emotional support, mindset, and other factors it is indeed possible to live on and heal the body after chemo. That being said, key recent studies have not exactly been in chemotherapy’s favour. Even though some have defended the procedure because of recent “advancements,” the survival rate has remained questionable at best, if not dismal compared to natural and holistic treatments being undertaken at specialty clinics and in people’s homes.

According to a major study conducted by the Department of Radiation Oncology at Northern Sydney Cancer Centre and published in the December 2004 issue of Clinical Oncology, chemotherapy’s real impact on the survival of American adults is a mere 2.1%, and that’s only for up to five years, not a “true survival rate.” With so much risk and so many nasty side effects surrounding chemo, do you think it’s worth the risk?

Budwig Protocol

The Flaxseed (Linseed) oil diet was originally proposed by Dr. Johanna Budwig, a German biochemist and expert on fats and oils, in 1951.  Dr. Budwig holds a Ph.D. in Natural Science, has undergone medical training, and was schooled in pharmaceutical science, physics, botany and biology. She is best known for her extensive research on the properties and benefits of flaxseed oil combined with sulphurated proteins in the diet, and over the years has published a number of books on the subject, including "Cancer--A Fat Problem," "The Death of the Tumor," and "True Health Against Arteriosclerosis, Heart Infarction & Cancer."

 

Dr. Budwig found that the blood of seriously ill cancer patients was deficient in certain important essential ingredients which included substances called phosphatides and lipoproteins, while the blood of a healthy person always contains sufficient quantities of these essential ingredients.

Lipids are only water-soluble and free-flowing when bound to protein; thus the importance of protein-rich cottage cheese. Budwig claims that the diet is both a preventative and a curative. She says the absence of linol-acids [in the average western diet] is responsible for the production of oxydase, which induces cancer growth and is the cause of many other chronic disorders.

 

The theory is: the use of oxygen in the organism can be stimulated by protein compounds of sulphuric content, which make oils water-soluble and which is present in cheese, nuts, onion and leek vegetables such as leek, chive, onion and garlic, but especially cottage cheese.

 

It is essential to use only unrefined, cold-pressed oils with high linolic acid content, such as linseed, sunflower, soya, poppyseed, walnut, and flax oils. Such oil should be consumed together with foods containing the right proteins otherwise the oils will have the OPPOSITE EFFECT, causing more harm than good.

 

The best combination is cottage cheese and linseed oil. The linseed should be freshly ground. Carbohydrates containing natural sugar, such as dates, figs, pears, apples and grapes, can also be  included in the diet. Honey is also beneficial. She feels most of the synthetic vitamin A preparations are bad because they contain oxidation products, but much carotene as pro-vitamin A (from carrot) is consumed. Vitamin B from buttermilk, yogurt, and natural yeast is beneficial.

 

 

A person requires daily about 4 oz. of cottage cheese mixed well with 1.5 oz. of linseed oil. A blender or egg beater works fine. The mixture an be sweeten with honey or otherwise flavored naturally. Fresh fruits can be added.


The Budwig Diet

For those who can't eat dairy products, you can  substitute "Companion Nutrients" available through Nature's Distributors in Arizona, 1-800-624-7114. These are capsules containing dried sulfurated proteins and enzymes which activate the essential fatty acids. They guarantee that one capsule will activate one Tbsp. of oil.

Make it very soft.

Eat some of it every day.

Some people just add the above to their diet, while others follow a Program that she recommends:

 

The patient has no nourishment on day #1 other than 250 ml (8.5 oz) of Flax Oil with honey plus freshly squeezed fruit juices (no sugar added!). In the case of a very ill person, champagne may be added on the first day in place of juice and is taken with the Flax Oil and honey. Champagne is easily absorbable and has a serious purpose here. (The champagne vehicle IS easier to assimilate and get someone almost on their death-bed going again. A retention enema of 250 ml (8.5 oz) of oil is another route to get this precious life-furthering, ELECTRON-RICH oil into the body. It can also be applied to the skin for transdermal absorption.)

 

1) SUGAR IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN. Grape juice may be added to sweeten any other freshly squeezed juices.

2) Other 'forbiddens' are:

 

- All animal fats.

- All Salad Oils (this included commercial mayonnaise)

- All Meats (chemicals & hormones)

- Butter

- Margarine

- Preserved Meats (the preservatives block metabolism even of Flax Oil)

 

3) Freshly squeezed vegetable juices are fine - carrot, celery, apple, and red beet.

 

4) Three times daily a warm tea is essential - peppermint, rose hips or grape tea - all sweetened as desired with honey. One cup of black tea before noon is fine.

 

DAILY PLAN

 

Before breakfast - a glass of Acidophilus milk or Sauerkraut juice is taken.

Breakfast - Muesli (regular cereal) is overlaid with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of Flax Oil and honey and fresh fruit according to season - berries, cherries, apricots, peaches, grated apple. Vary the flavor from day to day. Use any nuts except peanuts! Herbal teas as desired or black tea. A 4 oz (120 g) serving of THE SPREAD (directions below). This is fine to eat 'straight' like a custard, or add it to other foods taken in the day as you will see.

 

Morning tea (10am) - A glass of fresh carrot juice, apple, celery, or beet-apple juice is taken.

 

Lunch - Raw salad with yogurt-Flax Oil Mayonnaise (directions below).

In addition to 'greens' salads, use grated turnips, carrots, kohlrabi, radishes, sauerkraut or cauliflower. A fine powder of horseradish, chives or parsley may be added for flavor.

 

Cooked Meal Course - Steamed vegetables, potatoes, or such grains as rice, buck-wheat or millet may be served. to these add either THE SPREAD or THE MAYO - for flavor and to up your intake of Flax Oil. Also mix THE SPREAD with potatoes for an especially hearty meal. Add caraway, chives, parsley or other herbs.

 

Dessert - Mix fresh fruit other than those used for breakfast with THE SPREAD, this time (instead of honey), flavored using cream of lemon, vanilla or berries.

 

Afternoon Tea (4pm) - A small glass of natural wine (no preservatives) or champagne or fresh fruit juice with 1-2 tablespoons of honey-coated Fax Seeds.

 

Supper - Have this early, at 6pm. Make a hot meal using buckwheat, oat or soy cakes. grits from buckwheat are the very best and can be placed in a vegetable soup, or in a more solid form of cakes with herbal sauce. Sweet sauces & soups can always be given far more healing energy by adding THE SPREAD. Only honey or grape juice can be used for sweeteners. NO white sugar (or brown!) Only freshly squeezed juices and NOT reconstituted juices (preservative danger) may be used. These must be completely natural.

 

How to prepare 'THE SPREAD'

Place 250 ml (8.5 oz) Flax Oil into a mixer bowl and add one pound (450 g) of 1% Cottage Cheese  low fat or Quark) and add 4 tablespoons (60 ml) of Honey. Turn on the mixer and add just enough low fat milk or water to get the contents of the bowl to blend in together. In 5 minutes, a preparation of custard consistency results that has NO taste of the oil (and no oily 'ring' should be seen when you rinse out the bowl).

 

Alternatively, you can use Yogurt instead of Cottage Cheese in proportions of 1 oz (30 g) of Yogurt to 1 tablespoon (15 ml) each of Flax Oil and of honey and blend as above.

 

NOTE: When Flax Oil is blended like this, it does not cause diarrhea even when given in large amounts. It reacts chemically with the (sulphur) proteins of the cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.

 

How to prepare 'THE MAYO' (Mayonnaise):

 

Mix together 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Flax Oil, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) milk, and 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Yogurt.

 

Then add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of Lemon juice (or Apple Cider Vinegar) and add 1 teaspoon (2.5g) Mustard plus some herbs such as marjoram or dill.

 

Next add 2 or 3 slices of health food store pickles (no preservatives! - read label!) and a pinch of herbal salts.

 

According to Dr. Budwig, you need to remain on this diet for a good 5 years. If you break the rules of this diet, Dr Budwig reports, (ie. eating preserved meats, candy, etc), the tumors will sometimes grow rapidly worse.

 

FLAX (LINSEED) OIL is readily denatured by oxygen, heat, and light.  Rancid oil is bad for health, so oil MUST be carefully produced, packed under nitrogen in light-proof containers, refrigerated until used, used as fresh as possible, and stabilized with protein (THE SPREAD, etc) promptly once the container is opened..." Brands to look for include Omegaflo and Barleans. These should be refrigerated and used within a couple of months after opening.

 

Flax Seeds may also be used. Seeds need only be cracked in a food blender, or they may be ground in a coffee grinder. One needs three times the amount of seed to get the oil equivalent. Seeds are high in calories, so one may gain weight. The seeds are also high in soluble fiber, so blending with liquid tends to produce ever-hardening "jellies". Fresh-cracked seeds can sprinkled on muesli and should be eaten promptly.

If 40, 30, or even 20 years ago it was still possible to somehow convince people of the goodness of official oncology and of its results, today, after results that are as continuous as they are inane, although trumpeted regularly by the media, nobody accepts being seduced by words, about hypotheses and promises that are undelivered and undeliverable, any longer. The painful awareness, which almost everyone has experienced, of the miserable end of this or that relative, friend, or acquaintance, is associated with these failures.
We must surrender to the evidence that contemporary oncology is incapable of giving us the answers and the necessary to those who are cancer patients and that therefore it is our moral and ethical obligation to try to find the correct solution for the gravest and most painful disease of our time.

 

Cancer is a fungus
For about 100 years, the fundamental theory behind cancer has been based on the hypothesis that it is a malfunctioning of the genes. This point of view implies that cancer is intracellular. My point of view however is that cancer is a fungal infection, and therefore an extra cellular phenomenon.

 

 

Candida
In the plant world, cancers are caused by a fungal invasion, and it is possible to argue that the same thing happens in human beings. Fungi are always involved in cancers: they are found both in vivo and in the post-mortem examination*.
However, scientists believe that they develop after the onset of the illness. My opinion is that they come before it: they produce the cancer, blunt the immune system and then invade the entire organism.
Each type of cancer is caused by fungi of the Candida species, as also referenced by other research*, and the histological configuration is a result of the defence reaction of a tissue against the invasion. In time, the tissue gets exhausted and produces only undifferentiated cells.
A cancer could be termed a ‘solid abscess,’ where the colonies form the centre, and host cellular reaction is all around.

 

Sodium bicarbonate

Traditional anti-fungal drugs are ineffective in treating tumours because the solid colonies can be attacked only on the surface of their volume, and after the first administrations they become resistant.
A solid infection is much more powerful than a bacterial one. That is why simple fungal infections can last forever.
I have identified the substances uniquely able to penetrate these volumetric infections: for cancer of the internal organs it is sodium bicarbonate; and the best substance to eliminate skin cancer is iodine tincture, particularly when it is spread onto the growth. There are many publications that describe the effectiveness of sodium bicarbonate on cancer*, but the conclusions drawn in them are invariably wrong because they assume intracellular, rather than antifungal action.

 

 

The treatment
My methods have cured people for 20 years. Many of my patients recovered completely from cancer, even in cases where official oncology had given up.
The best way to try to eliminate a tumour is to bring it into contact with sodium bicarbonate, as closely as possible, i.e. using oral administration for the digestive tract, enemas for the rectum, douching for the vagina and uterus, intravenous injection for the lung and the brain, and inhalation for the upper airways. Breasts, lymph nodes and subcutaneous lumps can be treated with local perfusions. The internal organs can be treated with sodium bicarbonate by locating suitable catheters in the arteries (of the liver, pancreas, prostate, and limbs) or in the cavities (of the pleura or peritoneum). It is important to treat each type of cancer with the right dosage. For a phleboclysis, 500 cc at 5% or 8,4% is required; for external administrations it is enough to taste if the solution is salty. Sometimes it is judicious to combine different administrations. For each treatment, take into consideration that tumour colonies regress between the third and fourth day and collapse between the fourth and fifth, so that a six day administration is sufficient.
A complete, effective cycle is made up of six treatment days on, and six days off, repeated four times. The most important side effects of this care system are thirst and weakness.
For skin cancer, a 7% iodine tincture should be spread on the affected area, 20-30 times once a day, with the aim of producing a number of layers of crusts. After this treatment, the cancer will be gone and stay away forever.

 

 

Pediatric oncology
This therapy is also applicable in paediatric oncology, provided the dosage is adjusted and revised according to the weight and age of the infant, as well as the type of neoplastic formation.


 

Clinical cases
Several well-documented clinical cases, examined before and after sodium bicarbonate treatments, were reported on and outlined on www.cancerfungus.com.
I wrote a book entitled ‘Cancer is a Fungus’ published in Italian, Dutch and English, thanks to the help of family and friends. Video footage of patient testimonials is also available on the internet site mentioned above. My deep wish is to make this therapy available to all humanity. In order to do so I must carry on my research. This research is done privately, since I have received no response from official institutions — despite having published the results of the well-documented and successful clinical cases I have treated. It is my firm hope that soon, the fundamental role of fungi in the development of neoplastic disease is acknowledged, so that it is possible to find, with the help of all existing forces of the health establishment, those anti-mycotic drugs and those systems of therapy that can quickly defeat, without damageand suffering, a disease that brings so much devastation to humanity.

Why cancer comes back following chemotherapy, radiation or surgery

One of the most common problems in cancer patients who choose to undergo conventional cancer therapy is recurrence. They might think they have beaten their cancer with chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, only to find a few years later that tumors have spread into other tissues -- usually the lungs, brain, or even the reproductive organs. Conventional medicine has not yet caught on to what's happening here, but the reason why this phenomenon occurs is quite simple: Conventional cancer treatments only treat the symptoms of cancer (tumors or growths) and do not actually do anything to help the patient regain a level of health necessary to keep cancer in check.


A tumor is not technically a disease. It is a symptom of an underlying imbalance in the patient. Unless you treat and reverse the underlying imbalances, you will never eliminate the underlying cause of the cancer. You will continue to see more tumors and complications, even if you are able to treat the first tumors.

Think of it like this: suppose you have a dam holding up a body of water such as a lake. One day, due to poor maintenance, the dam begins to crack and water starts leaking through. In the world of conventional cancer treatment, they would say the problem is the water, and they would begin treating the water. They would try to evaporate the water or eliminate the water from flooding the valley below. But the problem isn't the water leaking through the dam; the problem is the integrity of the dam itself. Unless you diagnose the problem with the dam and repair it, then you will never stop the leaking water. 

The same is true with cancer. Unless you address the underlying integrity of the immune system and the body's self-repairing technology, all you're doing is chasing symptoms. You can treat all the cancer tumors in the world and still do nothing to actually help the cancer patient solve his or her underlying problem.

The cancer industry remains ignorant of useful treatments

Amazingly, after decades of research, and billions of dollars spent on cancer research, the conventional cancer industry remains oblivious to this simple truth about cancer. They don't teach cancer prevention, and they don't believe in cancer cures even though many exist. They are still treating the water rather than the dam by treating the tumors rather than the underlying problem. 


Conventional cancer treatments actually harm the patient and the patient's immune system, making it even more difficult to overcome cancer in the future. Chemotherapy harms the immune system and impairs organs such as the brain, liver, and the heart. It's sort of like using TNT to blow out the water leaking through the dam. You destroy the dam at the same time. It leaves the patient unable to stop the progression of the cancer. The real answers to cancer prevention and cure are found in nutrition, exercise, reduction of stress, and avoidance of environmental chemicals and toxins, and most of all - stop cellular fermentation as a result of intra-cellular acidity. Chemotherapy is not a cure for cancer, nor is radiation, because both of those treatments actually cause cancer.

When you poison the immune system and irradiate tissues, you create physical imbalances which in turn can create cancer or feed existing cancer. This is the simple reason why so many people who subject themselves to conventional cancer treatments find themselves battling recurring cancer years later.


Where to start with curing cancer

The bottom line is that conventional cancer treatments are a sham and they do nothing to help the patient overcome the causes of cancer. They do a great job of creating repeat business for the cancer industry, however, and pharmaceutical companies now have a reliable market for the anticancer chemicals that have now become mainstream treatments for this entirely preventable and curable disease. But if you want to really cure cancer, you've got to focus on detoxification and healing from the inside out. Nearly all cases of cancer are caused in part by a burden of toxic, synthetic chemicals lodged in the liver, heart and digestive tract. Eliminating those is the first step towards a real cure, and cleansing the liver is probably the single most important thing to do when seeking to cure your own cancer (or to have a "permanent remission" as conventional oncologists might call it, since they don't believe there is such a thing as a cure for cancer).


So, how do you cleanse your liver? I could write an entire article just on that, but here's something to get you started on what to investigate: The best modalities for liver cleansing are, in my opinion, Traditional Chinese Medicine and rainforest herbs (Amazon herbs). In my opinion, there is no such thing as a cancer recovery without a healthy, functioning liver. So start with supporting the liver. Isn't it interesting to note that chemotherapy -- which is still somehow accepted as the mainstream treatment for cancer -- is extremely toxic to the liver? In fact, chemotherapy compromises the body's ability to cure itself of cancer in the future, thereby ensuring continued entrapment in the pharmacological medical system. The reason conventional medicine is so incredibly profitable is that the chemical products they use harm patients just enough to make sure they need to keep coming back for more treatments.

This seems to be one of the biggest problems of our day! Most people that I consult with on a daily basis is on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine.

From medical aids to life insurance to doctors to friends want to know what your cholesterol level is. 

If you walk into your local convenience shop, you find it very hard to buy anything that’s not labeled “Low-Fat” or “Fat-Free” or “Cholesterol Free”

Fat has become the ultimate culprit of the post modern food world.


It is not the intention of this article to discuss the origin of this notion, but rather to point the way for the future.


Does consuming fat clog up our arteries?

The following is on the front page of The International Network of Cholesterol Skeptics:

For decades, enormous human and financial resources have been wasted on the cholesterol campaign, more promising research areas have been neglected, producers and manufacturers of animal food all over the world have suffered economically, and millions of healthy people have been frightened and badgered into eating a tedious and flavorless diet or into taking potentially dangerous drugs for the rest of their lives. As the scientific evidence in support of the cholesterol campaign is non-existent, we consider it important to stop it as soon as possible.

   The International Network of Cholesterol Skeptics (THINCS) is a steadily growing group of scientists, physicians, other academicians and science writers from various countries. Members of this group represent different views about the causation of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, some of them are in conflict with others, but this is a normal part of science. What we all oppose is that animal fat and high cholesterol play a role. The aim with this website is to inform our colleagues and the public that this idea is not supported by scientific evidence; in fact, for many years a huge number of scientific studies have directly contradicted it.


So what does this mean?


Does this mean that avoiding saturated animal fat, eggs, low fat milk, fat free milk, fatty meat, organ meats etc. will not benefit you?


Does it mean that your Specialist Doctor who puts you on a cholesterol lowering diet wrong? 


Well let me try and explain the dilemma with the current cholesterol treatment model.


It all starts in the saliva. Yes, in your mouth. I am talking about the pH of your body. When the pH of your saliva drops to acid (below 7) it means that the water between your body tissue cells become acid. When this situation continues for any length of time the cell will start malfunctioning and disease may set in.


We may all be familiar with one such acid borne symptom. If you’ve done strenuous exercise and experience stiff or sore muscles the next day, it’s due to a build up of lactic acid in the muscle tissues. Because the arteries in your body is also made from muscle tissue, they too may become too acid, much like the muscles in your legs for instance.

Lets say you were to stretch that stiff leg muscle too much, it will actually tear! This is of coarse very painful.

The same happens when we “stretch” an artery. This may happen when you end up behind a taxi in traffic or standing in a slow moving line at the post office. Because of these, umm, stressful situations, you may experience a sudden constriction of the arteries, increasing your blood pressure to fight off the eminent enemy in front of you. 

In order for these arteries to constrict, the muscle tissue forming the arteries contracts and thus a higher pressure is the result. Now, if those artery muscle tissues happened to be too acid, a small tear may be the result of the sudden constriction. This may result in a microscopic tear in the artery wall. As a result there is a small leak of blood from the artery.


When this happens the body springs to action. Bleeding is serious and if left unattended can have catastrophic consequences. So, to plug the “hole” the body gets some fibrous material from the liver called fibrinogen. It uses this much like you would plug the hole in a fiber-glass boat, this being the fiber. Secondly for “cement” it draws calcium from the bones to strengthen the patch. Lastly, to make sure there is no leak, it puts a sealant over the patch, called; “bad cholesterol” or Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL). 

Low density means it can float on-top of something else. This means that the so called bad LDL will float on top until it gets to the point of where it’s needed, and then attach to the inside of the artery wall to seal the patch. A miracle just occurred, your life was saved!


However, when your specialist doctor, called a Cardiologist, opens you up to find blocked arteries, he blames the patches for blocking your arteries, and puts you an anti-patch medicine called, statins!

You may ask why he would do such a thing? Well see, it’s all about cholesterol, in fact it’s all about the “bad LDL cholesterol.” 

When your artery tissues are acid, like I explained above, you don’t just form one little hole, you may have thousands! In order to seal off these thousands of microscopic holes, you need a lot of “sealant” or LDL cholesterol.

So, when your clever doc tests your blood, sure enough, he will see the higher levels of patch material, or LDL or “bad cholesterol” Bad for saving your life!


As the arteries hardens due to prolonged acidity, you may have more and more of these “patches” being formed. You may even have total blockage of certain arteries. This is serious, but it is certainly NOT the fault of the “bad” patching material - LDL!

The fault is to be laid at the feet of the acid buildup in your system. 

In fact, as the artery walls hardens over time, due to high acid levels, you may even find yourself with a whole new condition - high blood pressure!

High blood pressure then results from the hardened arteries not being able to contract or relax, the action whereby it regulates the blood’s pressure.


So, you mean that the whole cholesterol thing is a lie we are being fed by pharmaceutical companies sponsoring adverts and doctors conventions? Well, one recent study by Dr Malcolm Kendrick showed that the people with the lowest cholesterol (Australian Aborigines) has about thirty times higher cardiovascular disease as Britten, in fact the highest on the planet. The Swiss with the highest average cholesterol levels have the lowest incidence of CVD in the WORLD!

So, you decide…

What about the medication given for cholesterol? Well, one good source of information on the effect of “Statins” (Cholesterol medicine) is a book called “Did your Doctor tell you?” by Prof. Willem Serfontein. On pg. 27 he lists just a few possible side effects of taking statins, among them are; Increased Cancer risk, Suppression of insulin levels (Called diabetes), weakening of the heart muscle, Immune malfunction, Peripheral nerve damage AND Increased cardiovascular risk!! Some others that he does not list may include loss of memory, burning feet, dementia and loss of sex drive. Good stuff this...


What can you do about it?

The best thing you can do, is to get your body pH tested. Remember, this is NOT your stomach acid. It’s the pH of your intercellular fluid. 

Once you have this value tested, you can start acting on correcting this value to an optimal level of 7.5. As your acid level drops, your body can regain it’s optimal level of functionality, and start repairing itself. 

Certain supplements may help the body regain its optimal healthy level much more effectively. Amongst these are Omega 3 with Alkoxyglycerol and Squaline added, Coral Calcium to help achieve a good pH, and a complex of anti-oxidants.

The less water you drink, the more Histamine your body produces - making everyting run and itch. So instead of taking anti-Histamine - rather increase your water intake. If you apply the following formula you will drink the correct amount of water:

Your GOAL weight x 0.7 / by 14 days = amount of water per day / by 250ml gives you the number of glasses per day

Example: 70kg x 0.7 = 49L (water content of your body) / 14 days = 3.5L water per day / by 250ml glass = 14 glasses of water per day.

At this point you realize then that drinking 14 glasses of tap water may kill you! You may just be correct, so please get quality water. I recommend Nestlè or Valpre water. If you have a KDF type filter, you are winning.

Step two

Remove ALL wheat and wheat containing products from your diet. This means bread, muffins, pancakes, biscuits and crackers made from wheat. Alternatives to these are products made from 100% rye and spelt or rice.

Help, my child has ADD

Dr. Peter Breggin, one of the foremost experts on the dangers of prescription drugs, writes:

In the 1970s, there was a public uproar, outraged books, and congressional hearings about one hundred thousand children being prescribed Ritalin. Now hardly anyone remembers that controversy. Instead, millions of children are taking stimulant drugs with hardly any outcry at all.   

 

Estimates vary widely, but the total number of children on Ritalin has been estimated between 6 and 8 million children or more in 2000. The United States accounts for 90% of the world’s consumption of Ritalin, which prompted the International Narcotics Control Board to issue a warning in February of 1995 which deplored the fact that “10-12 percent of all boys between the ages of 6 and 14 in the United States have been diagnosed as having ADD and are being treated with methylphenidate [Ritalin].”  The board raised concerns about doctors’ seeking “easy” solutions to “behavioural problems which may have complex causes.” It also drew attention to the “promotional practices” that were leading to the over prescription of Ritalin in our country.

 

ADHD and Ritalin  

 

    Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the “disorder” that supposedly accounts for so many children having trouble in school and posing disciplinary problems to adults. Ritalin is promoted as the “cure” for this condition, on the basis that ADHD is a “biochemical imbalance” in the brain that is fixed by the “magic bullet” of Ritalin.  But is ADHD a real physical disease? Can it be scientifically identified?   

    According to Dr. Peter Breggin and many, many scientists, ADHD cannot be physically identified:   

 

There is no physical test that can detect the supposed existence of ADHD. There are no specific physical symptoms associated with it. The ADHD diagnosis is made by comparing the child’s behaviors with a description of the disorder as defined and accepted by experts and practitioners in the field.

 

Dr. Breggin also writes:   

 

There are no objective diagnostic criteria for ADHD—no physical symptoms, no neurological signs, and no blood tests. Despite claims to the contrary, there are no brain scan findings and no biochemical imbalances. No physical tests can be done to verify that a child has ADHD.

 

     Gerald Golden, a professor of paediatrics and neurology, put it bluntly: “Attempts to define a biological basis for ADHD have been consistently unsuccessful. The neuroanatomy of the brain, as demonstrated by neuroimaging studies, is normal. No neuropatholical substrate has been demonstrated….”  

    In a scientific review, Diane McGuinness called Attention Deficit Disorder “the emperor’s new clothes.” In The Hyperactive Child and Stimulant Drugs, Roger Freeman labelled the state of the art and practice in the field surrounding ADHD “a mess.” He went on to note that this area is “characterized by rarely challenged myths, ill-defined boundaries, and a strangely seductive attractiveness.”

     With facts such as these, many people have concluded with Dr. Breggin that there is “no evidence that ADHD is a valid clinical entity associated with physical dysfunction of the brain.”

     How does a child become diagnosed as ADHD?  What are the criteria for such a diagnosis? This is a shocker.  According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th Edition (DSM-IV), considered the “bible” of psychiatric diagnosis, the entire criteria for making a diagnosis of oppositional defiant disorder is the following:   

 

A pattern of negativistic, hostile, and defiant behaviour lasting at least 6 months, during which four (or more) of the following are present: (1) often loses temper, (2) often argues with adults, (3) often actively defies or refuses to comply with adult requests or rules, (4) often deliberately annoys people, (5) often blames others for his or her mistakes or misbehaviours, (6) is often touchy or easily annoyed by others, (7) is often angry and resentful, (8) is often spiteful or vindictive.

 

     No physical cause is described but only behavioural conflict and anger.  Dr. Breggin notes that the above diagnosis is merely eight ways to say a child is angry.

     If ADHD is not a medical entity, then why is Ritalin so heavily prescribed? Arthur Caplan, director of the University of Pennsylvania’s Centre for Bioethics, writes, “There’s either a strange plague of hyperactivity in the U.S., or we’ve got a lot of folks prescribing Ritalin as a psychopharmocological nanny.” Dr. Breggin hits the nail on the head: “Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has one over-riding purpose—to put a medical veneer on the use of medication to control the behavior of children.”    

 

Drug companies and Ritalin   

 

It should alert any parent’s attention that, with virtually no understanding of the long-term effects of stimulant drugs such as Ritalin, these drugs were heavily advertised by the drug companies for the treatment of problem children. There are enormous sums of money involved in the development and marketing of prescription drugs.  Leon Eisenberg, a professor of psychiatry and social medicine at Harvard Medical School, says that the sale of Ritalin and other stimulant drugs for children are “driven by the convenience of the doctor, the profitability of the drug company, and the notion that there is nothing more meaningful to life than biochemistry.”

With all this said, what should a parent do?

Many people come to me in desperation, usually wit words like:

The teacher says that if I do not put him on Ritalin, he is not welcome in the [boring] class.

If I do not give him the drug, I may upset the school, [and it’s such a good school]

I had him on the drug, but he becomes like a Robot or a Drone [but the teacher is happy now]

The Teacher is in favour of “other alternatives” but I have tried every thing, nothing works, the drug is the ONLY option out.

The Doctor says there is NO side effects to using Ritalin (schedule 6 drug), Strattera (schedule 5 drug) or Concerta  (schedule 6 drug)

Step # 1

Accept responsibility

It is and will always be YOUR responsibility to make important decisions regarding your child. Make sure you come under that weight, and carry it – you are made for it and you are the ONLY one that has your child’s best interest at heart. ANY body else, wants a quick way out, or wants to make money out of you and claim the glory. There is no, well lets first put him on the drug and then when he is better try something alternative – poison is always poison!

 

So with that in mind, make sure you get as much information as possible on what the (long term) effects of taking such dangerous drugs are. Study the web and related books (not sponsored by a pharmaceutical company or a doctor in favour of the related drugs, there are enough of those) by people that did find an alternative.

Children are all individuals, so with some discipline (or the lack thereof) may be the main problem, with other it may be diet, yet another may have emotional issues due to divorced parents, an absent father or mother, or some other trauma in their lives. You may find your child has a combination of these or needs supplements. You are not alone; other people have gone through the same issues.

Once you have accepted responsibility, you evolve from being a victim to being a victor, and you are ready to take action.

Step #2

What goes in comes out!

The old saying is “Garbage in garbage out.”

This is probably the most important change you can have on your child’s being. Although you may already be feeding your child a healthy diet, some foods are more beneficial than others.

There are foods that contain what we may call “Excitotoxins

 

The most well known, and widely used is MSG or Mono Sodium Glutamate

It stimulates the brain’s glutamine receptors but without a purpose. Like someone once said to me: “I feel like running but I don’t know where to” This substance is to be found in:

 

 Canned soups.

 Aromat

 Pre-prepared stocks (soup powders) and stock cubes.

 Condiments such as barbecue sauce. And most Knor products.

 Frozen dinners.

 Frozen seafood.

 Common snack foods such as flavored potato chips and flavored tortilla chips.

 Most fast food.

 Instant meals such as the seasoning mixtures for instant noodles.

Junk food

 

 The second BIG toxin is cane sugar. It has many adverse effects in children (and adults) but you may only see the real difference once your child is off sugar for a while and then ingests some sugar. The effect is sometimes within minutes and often lasts for 24-48 hours after ingestion.

 

When sugar was first refined, many years ago, it was used as a mind altering drug…

Refined sugar, as we know it today, has been refined 17 times from the sugar cane. This means that if you ingest 1 teaspoon of  refined sugar, it would have been 17 spoons of the original sugar cane, of which it is not possible to consume in such large quantities. Brown sugar is simply refined white sugar with sweet molasses added, and has NO health benefit. When you consume black strap molasses, it’s a different story.

 

Sugar is often used in tea, coffee (another stimulant) or on cereal. If you are already living a healthier diet, then you may already be taking in less sugar, and that’s great, but sugar is concealed in many products like:

 Breakfast cereals

 Yogurt and flavoured milk

 Biscuits

 Sweets

 Coke, and other fizzy drinks

 Snacks, even the savoury kinds

 Juice

 Snack bars

 Health snack bars

 Desserts

 And Much more (read the label for Sugar, glucose or sucrose)

 

Using artificial sweeteners are equally unhelpful as they belong to the Excitotoxin clan.

 

The only healthy and well tolerated is Xylitol, a natural healthy sugar.

 

The third HUGE culprit is wheat. Wheat in its original state is tolerated well by the human body. The body has the enzymes to digest it correctly. Unfortunately as man got involved in mass agriculture the seed was genetically modified in the laboratories. It still looks the same to the naked eye but to the delicate digestive enzymes in our intestines, it looks quite different. In fact they don’t know what to do with it! They simply start breaking apart the “new wheat” molecule as best they know. As they do not have the right “size spanner” to take the molecule apart as it should be done, we find certain by-products forming.

Some of these by-products are called lectins, and they have a range of terrible effects in the body like eczema, asthma, sinus problems, digestive disorders and then THE BRAIN. The neurons in the brain start misbehaving, (combined with excitotoxins, sugar etc) and starts firing when it’s not supposed to, or miss-firing when required to make a quick decision.

 

Products that contain wheat:

 Breakfast cereals like Wheatbix, Muesli, and most Boxed cereals.

 Muffins, scones, pancakes, biscuits, Provita, Cream crackers, etc

 Bread (all) Except when it states Wheat free

 Pastas (all)  Except when it states Wheat free

 Pizza base

 Sandwiches, Burgers, Hot Dogs, pies etc.

 

There are a number of save alternatives to wheat:

 Spelt (an ancient grain, rather expensive, but almost a direct replacement for wheat) available at health stores

 Rye

 Oats

 Rice

 

Colourants and preservatives is an obvious no-go. These are many of these (hidden) in things like, sweets, yogurt, bottled juices etc.

The last but most important part of your child’s diet is his breakfast. Yes grandma was right. Too often people tell me that they are too rushed in the morning and thus swallow breakfast on the way out the front door.

Breakfast then quite often comprise of a “lifeless boxed cereal” with dead milk, or no fat milk. Some people are more health orientated and have been taught that fruit is best for breakfast.

Well it simply does not do the trick. If you eat something simple and refined like a boxed cereal (or worse a microwave variant) or muesli, fruit and yogurt, your blood sugar quickly rises too much. The body then responds by secreting too much insulin, as to lower the blood sugar. Because of the steep rise in blood sugar the body secretes too much insulin, resulting in a fast drop in blood sugar. So you go from feeling “on top of the world” (hyper – bouncing off the wall) to the “world being on top of you” (a low – cannot concentrate and fall asleep at his desk)

That’s called a “mood swing”

The remedy of cause is to change what your child has for breakfast. You need to combine a non wheat starch with an animal protein, like a slice of 100% rye bread with mince or an egg on toast etc. Avoid things like just oats – rather have the oats and straight after it an egg.

 

This causes the breakfast to digest slower, causing a slower rise in blood sugar and thus a more stable blood sugar level which in turn prevents mood swings (and drugs) Your child will also have sustained mental and physical energy with a breakfast like that.

 

Have you ever seen what chaos breaks out when a preschooler’s blood sugar drops – the same is true for your child or us adults.

 

 

Step #3

Supplementation

If it’s not in the soil – you don’t get it in the diet – no matter what the dieticians hand book says.

Due to modern day food processing and mass agriculture we do not get the micro nutrients from our food that we need. If you still think you get everything from your diet, think again, you would have to get 13 portions of Non-genetically modified, organically grown vine ripened fruit and vegetables daily. On your own farm this may be possible but is a near impossibility in suburbia.   

 

The following supplements we have used extensively over the last decade, and we get consistent good results with them. There may be others, but we have not used them like we have with the ones listed below.

Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid. This means that our body cannot make it, we need to take it in through our [depleted]diet. The best way is to supplement with a few capsules of these per day. As this is no medicine, simply food in a capsule there is no maximum dose. As a good friend put it when asked how much is needed, his response was simply “as much as is needed to make it work” We usually give a higher dose in the first few weeks, as this helps the body to regulate itself faster. This may amount to as much as 6000mg per day with meals.  After that you may be able to lower the dose slightly or not, depending on the individual. We only recommend Omega SO  

 

 

The brain also needs a selection of amino acids, minerals and vitamins to function properly. This is as needed as the oils.

For this we use one proven product only: MINDSET

The best way is to supplement with a few capsules of these per day. As this is no medicine, simply food in a capsule there is no maximum dose. This may amount to as much as 6 capsules (or more) per day on an empty stomach.  After that you may be able to lower the dose slightly or not, depending on the individual. If they struggle to sleep you may need to give 1 or 2 caps before bedtime for the first few weeks as well.

Kyk jy ook dikwels na die afkondigingsblaadjie in die kerk en sien die name van tientalle siek mense waarvoor weekliks gebid moet word? Te gereeld is daar nie die herstel waarvoor gehoop of gebid is nie.

Of het jy al self vorentoe gegaan vir gebed, vertrou dat jy genees is, net om later uit te vind dat die siekte of probleem steeds teenwoordig is?  

 

Wat nou gemaak? Wil God my dan nie gesond maak nie, glo ek nie genoeg nie, of is daar ʼn stukkie van die legkaart waarvan ek nie weet nie? Ons weet immers nie alles nie...

 

God is groot, God is soewerein, soms gee God genesing, soms nie. God is nie aan ons ʼn antwoord verskuldig oor Sy aksies nie. Hy het egter sekere reëls ingestel op aarde. Daar is sekere natuurwette bv. seisoene,  die wet van gravitasie, ens. As ons hierdie wette minag of ignoreer, is daar sekere gevolge. As ek byvoorbeeld van ʼn vierverdieping gebou se dak afspring in die hoop dat God my lewe gaan red, is daar sekere gevolge. Dan kan my reaksie wees; “maar ek glo dan nie in die wet van gravitasie nie” of “ek het dan gebid dat die engele my sou vang”

 

Hoekom gebeur dit dan nie? Kan God Sy eie wette breek? Natuurlik kan Hy! Dink byvoorbeeld aan die skeiding van die Rooi See, manna uit die hemel, verandering van water in wyn, Moses en die brandende bos, Jona en die vis en talle ander. God kan natuurreëls breek. Hy het dit gedoen vir baie spesifieke redes en Hy het die glorie daarvoor ontvang.

 

Waar laat dit ons?

Jy mag vra, maar wat het God, natuurwette en gesondheid in gemeen? Alles! Net soos sekere reëls en beginsels in die natuur geld, is daar sekere reëls en beginsels ten opsigte van God se tempel op aarde, jou menslike liggaam.

Of ons onkundig is, of nie in die wette glo nie, die uiteinde is dieselfde -  ons liggame gaan agteruit – soms vinnig, soms stadig en pynlik.

 

Wat is hierdie beginsels?

Ons voorouers en ouers het baie van hierdie beginsels geken. Sommige, is ou beginsels, nuut toegepas in die postmoderne era waarin ons, ons bevind. ʼn Era waar daar nuwe en eiesoortige aanslae op die liggaam is soos nooit tevore nie.

 

Ek sien die prentjie van gesondheids-beginsels as ʼn legkaart.

Wanneer jy ʼn legkaart vir die eerste keer uit die boks haal, is dit moeilik om te glo dat die stukkies karton ʼn pragtige prent kan voorstel. Stel jou voor hoe moeilik dit is om die legkaart te bou, as jy nie die prentjie buite op die legkaart boks het, wat wys hoe die eindproduk behoort te lyk nie.

As ons die prentjie het kan ons soek en stukkies pas, totdat ons ʼn pragtige legkaart voltooi het, dit geniet en met ander deel.

 

Gesondheids-legkaartstukke.

Vir 'n gesonde liggaam is daar  verskeie  legkaartstukkies nodig om al die sisteme van ons Godgeskape tempel te laat funksioneer, soos die Skepper dit bedoel het.

Baie keer dink ons, ons pas die regte legkaart stukkies in mekaar. Die realiteit is egter dat die prentjie van gesondheid in ons gedagtes, wat gevorm word deur die media baie keer skeef of onvolledig is. Dit veroorsaak dat ons dink ons weet wat ons doen ten opsigte van ons gesondheid, maar steeds ernstige siektes ontwikkel en dan nie verstaan hoekom dit gebeur nie.  

 

In die volgende paar maande deel ek graag met jou 'n paar van hierdie legkaart stukke, en gaan ek jou help om dit maklik in jou eie lewe toe te pas.

 

Die eerste en waarskynlik die belangrikste legkaart stukkie is om die liggaam skoon te maak.

Ek konsulteer mense op ʼn daaglikse basis oor gesondheid, en vind dat die meeste mense se liggame vol gifstowwe is.

Die belangrikste skoonmaakmiddel in die liggaam is goeie kwaliteit gefiltreerde water.  Dis baie interessant om deur Levitikus te lees, en te sien hoe dat God vir byna alle onreinhede water as skoonmaakmiddel gegee het.

Meeste mense wie ek konsulteer reken dat hulle genoeg vloeistof inneem. Alle vloeistof is egter nie goed vir die skoonmaak van die liggaam nie. Jy gebruik byvoorbeeld nie koffie of tee of sap om jou wasgoed te was nie, nee jy gebruik skoon water.

 

Wanneer jy dus jou liggaam wil skoon was van onsuiwerhede is dit uiters belangrik om die regte soort water te gebruik. Gewone kraanwater is eenvoudig nie goed genoeg nie. Om water aan die massas te voorsien word allerhande chemikalieë by die water gevoeg om skadelike goggas dood te maak. Dis ʼn goeie ding, buite die liggaam, anders vrot die water. Binne die liggaam is dit egter nadelig, omdat dieselfde chemikalieë ook die vriendelike bakterieë binne die spysverteringstelsel doodmaak. Hierdie bakterieë is belangrik om sekere van die mikro voedingstowwe uit kos, om te skakel in vorme wat die liggaam kan aanwend om sy selle te voed. Bakterieë binne die spysverteringskanaal is ook uiters belangrik om ʼn gesonde immuunstelsel te handhaaf.

 

Is gebottelde water dan die alternatief?

Omdat bottel water geen van die nadelige chemikalieë bevat wat in kraanwater voorkom nie, word dit as ʼn beter alternatief beskou. Die probleem is egter, omdat daardie chemikalieë nou nie in die water is nie, kan die bakterieë binne die bottel water sommer maklik aanteel. Hierdie bakterieë is nie altyd goed vir die liggaam nie.

 

Die heel beste water is natuurlike, onbesoedelde bergstroom water. Natuurlike water bevat spoorelemente van essensiële minerale wat ons liggaam benodig om korrek te funksioneer. Ons praat nie van die paar bekende minerale wat mens in meeste goeie multivitamien aanvullings kry nie, nee hierdie is minerale in mikro hoeveelhede byvoorbeeld: Fosfor, Gallium, Silver, Ytterbium, Vanadium, Chroom ens. Ons benodig ongeveer sewentig soorte van hierdie minerale in mikro hoeveelhede. Ongelukkig woon ons in die stad  waar bergstroom water is nie die opsie nie.

 

Die beste plaasvervanger vir bergstroom water is gefiltreerde water.

Gebruik is ʼn KDF tipe filter. Hierdie filter bevat geaktiveerde koolstof om die slegte smake en onaangename reuke te verwyder en chloor uit die water te haal. Verder bevat dit silwer om die water te steriliseer van bakterieë en ander ongewenste lewendige organismes. KDF is ʼn allooi van sink en koper wat swaar metale verwyder, maar goeie minerale deurlaat. Afhangend van die vervaardiger se spesifikasies, filtreer hierdie filter gemiddeld 20 000L water, voordat dit vervang moet word. Die koste is minder as 5c per liter!

 

Omdat kraan water deur groot suiwerings aanlegte gaan en behandel word, voordat dit by die filter ingaan, is die gefiltreerde water arm aan spoorminerale. Dit is dus nodig om die minerale in die water terug te plaas. Die heel beste vorm van minerale is ioniese minerale, wat natuurlik deur rotse by water gevoeg word soos wat die water daaroor vloei. Omdat ons in die stad woon, behoort ons ioniese minerale by die water te voeg om beide, die mineraal balans te herstel en ook die pH van die water alkalies te maak.

Die hoeveelheid water wat jy behoort in te neem, tydens ʼn ontgiftings periode hang af van jou gewig. Hier is ʼn interessante manier om te sien hoe gesond jou liggaam is ten opsigte van die hoeveelheid water wat jy per dag drink.

Jou liggaam is ongeveer 70% water. Om gesond te wees moet hierdie water gereeld geruil word, soos in ʼn opgaar tenk, anders word dit sleg. Indien jy 85kg weeg (70% water van 85kg = 59liter) en 1 glas water van 250ml per dag drink, neem dit 236 dae om die water massa in jou liggaam te ruil met vars water (59L/250ml=236 dae). Indien jy 2L water per dag drink (koffie, tee, sap en koeldrank word nie as water gereken nie) neem dit 1 maand om die water in jou liggaam te ruil. Die ideaal is om die water in jou liggaam elke 2 weke of selfs korter te ruil.

Party mense reken dat jy te veel water kan drink. Indien jy goeie kwaliteit gefiltreerde water met ioniese minerale daarin drink, is daar geen manier om jou liggaam te beskadig met selfs drie keer die aanbevole hoeveelheid water per dag nie.

 

Tot ons weer gesels, hoop ek jy skaf ʼn goeie kwaliteit KDF tipe water filter aan, en begin om jou water inname daagliks te verhoog. Sorg dat jy ioniese minerale in jou water gooi. Sodra jy begin om jou liggaam skoon te maak, mag jy effense ongemak ervaar soos wat die gifstowwe uit die liggaam onttrek word. Hierdie simptome kan naarheid,  hoofpyne en lyfseer insluit maar is van korte duur, gewoonlik drie tot vyf dae. Dis heel normaal, skadeloos en kom bykans by alle persone voor wat hulle liggame skoonmaak.

 

Maak jou liggaam skoon. Begin die pad van volgehoue gesondheid stap om die taak wat God jou opgelê het, met ywer en durf te kan voltooi!


Die gevare van suiker

Die mens is nou maar een maal verslaaf aan iets wat soet is. Sommige mense reken dat dit ‘n aangeleerde smaak is, maar ek twyfel sterk. Van die eerste oomblik dat ‘n baba borsmelk drink, ervaar hy wat soet beteken. Dit is daarom nie vreemd dat ons, ons hele lewe die soeter dinge in die lewe uitsoek nie.

In die natuur is daar baie dinge wat soet smaak, van boombas tot vrugte. Die probleem ontstaan wanneer ons daardie soet smake isoleer en te veel daarvan begin verbruik.

 

Het jy al ooit ‘n mamma gesien wat ‘n kleinding suiker voer, ek bedoel lepel vir lepel soos wat sy pap aan die kleinding sou voer? Natuurlik nie, dis ondenkbaar! Tog is dit presies wat elke dag gebeur, sonder dat ons dit besef.

 

Maar voordat ons na die effekte van suiker op die liggaam kyk is dit belangrik om te weet wat suiker is.  Suiker kom meestal vanaf die suikerriet, en dis heeltemal natuurlik. As jy al aan ‘n stukkie suikerriet gekou het behoort jy die soet smaak daarin te proe. Die suiker is deel van die plant soos God dit gemaak het. Om egter die suiker te kry wat jy in jou tee of koffie gooi word die riet deur soveel as sewentien verfynings prosesse verwerk. Hierdie prosesse raak ontslae van alles wat nie suiwer glukose en fruktose is nie soos, vitamiene, minerale en  vesels. Die eindproduk is sewentien keer soeter as dit waarmee begin is, dus sewentien keer meer gekonsentreerd, gestroop van alles wat goed was in die oorspronklike riet!

Dit beteken dat die 1 teelepel suiker wat jy in jou koffie gooi gelykstaande is aan 17 teelepels rou suikerriet. Al daaraan gedink om 17 teelepels suikerriet in jou koffie te gooi.

 

Wat die verfynings proses regkry, is om al die Godgegewe meganismes, wat verhoed dat jy te veel kan inneem (bloot omdat die volume te veel sal wees), te verwyder en net dit wat soet is in ‘n totaal onnatuurlike hoë konsentraat te voorsien sonder die vitamiene en minerale wat jou liggaam voed. Die verfynings proses verander die suikerriet wat ‘n komplekse plant matriks het na ‘n eenvoudige chemiese molekule. Hierdie onnatuurlike lewelose chemikalie word dan as ‘natuurlik’ en goed aan jou bemark!

Jy word vertel dis goedheid uit die natuur en dat dit ‘n perfekte bron van energie is.

 

Dis interessant om te weet dat toe suiker die eerste keer so geweldig verfynd gemaak is, dit as ‘n kragtige brein-funksie-modulerende middel onder dokters toesig gebruik was, net soos opium!

 

Omdat daar groot internasionale besigheid betrokke  is by die handel van suiker wat eie belange ten alle koste beskerm, sal jy selde hoor wat ek jou volgende gaan vertel.

Wetenskaplike studies wys dat suiker geïmpliseer kan word in die groei en verspreiding van kanker, tog word die verbruik daarvan bykans nooit deur enige onkoloog aan ‘n kanker leier as nadelig vir sy herstel van kanker uitgewys nie.

 

Suiker is gevaarliker as rook vir jou liggaam, omdat jy dit reeds van ‘n jong ouderdom af in gekonsentreerde vorm inkry en dit word in amper alle kommersiële kos soorte versteek.

 

Daar is ‘n direkte verband tussen suiker verbruik en die toename in die obesiteit van veral die jonger generasie.

 

Suiker verongeluk die delikate mineraal balanse in jou liggaam, soos byvoorbeeld die van koper, magnesium, en kalsium wat lei tot ernstige toestande soos aneurismes van slagare, verkalking van are en versteurings van kolesterolvlakke.

 

Suiker het ‘n nadelige effek op jou dermkanaal wat die absorbsie van voedingstowwe benadeel en kan lei tot siektes soos Chrone se siekte en ulseratiewe kolites.

Suiker kan lei tot alkoholisme, verswakte sig, diabetes, osteoporose, tand bederf, voortydige veroudering, arteritis, asma en veelvuldige sklerose.

 

In ‘n vorige artikel het ek oor ADD en ADHD geskryf en die gevare van suiker uitgelig. Hierdie is egter net een van die probleme wat suiker in die brein veroorsaak. Suiker kan die delta, alfa, en theta golwe in die brein verhoog wat jou brein se vermoë om helder te kan dink nadelig beïnvloed. Verder kan dit depressie veroorsaak en jou kanse op Alsheimer se siekte verhoog en die frekwensie van epileptiese aanvalle verhoog.

Suiker kan ook jou hormone deur mekaar gooi soos, estrogeen in mans verhoog, PMS in vrouens vererger en ‘n afname in groei hormone veroorsaak.

 

Soos jy kan sien uit ‘n paar nadele wat ek genoem het (en daar is nog BAIE meer) is dit nie die ideale ding om naby jou of jou kind te laat kom, indien jy enigsins gesond wil wees en bly nie. Suiker is nie bloot iets wat jy behoort te vermy as jy gewig wil verloor nie, jy moet dit vermy as jy bloot gesond wil bly.

 

Wat is die alternatief vir suiker?

1.  Kunsmatige versoeters

Stap in enige restaurant in en jy sal ten minste twee soorte suiker (wit en bruin) op die tafel aantref. Onthou tog net dat daar geen verskil is tussen bruin en wit suiker nie, beide is uiters nadelig vir jou gesondheid. Bruin suiker is net so nadelig os wit, en is wit suiker met soet molasse bygevoeg.

Die ander sakkie wat jy sal aantref op die restaurant tafel is die ‘kunsmatige versoeter’. Iemand het een keer gesê: “As God dit nie gemaak het nie, of jy dit nie kan uitspreek nie, moet dit nie eet nie!” Dit is eers waar van kunsmatige versoeters.

 

Onder kunsmatige versoeters verstaan ons dat dit dus op geen manier natuurlik is nie (daarom die naam kunsmatige versoeter) Dis iets wat iemand met ‘n wit jas agter ‘n gesig skerm in ‘n laboratorium ontdek het en as iets voordelig aan jou probeer afsmeer met slim bemarkings foefies.

 

Daar bestaan tans ‘n paar van hierdie chemikalie op die mark wat kwansuis deur die FDA in Amerika en ons eie beheer liggame as ‘veilig vir menslike gebruik’ verklaar is. Hierdie kom voor in dieet koeldranke, gegeurde water, aanmaak sap asook in baie van die liggaams bou drankies of ontbyt melkskommel drankies voor, asook in versoeters soos: NutraSweet, Canderel, Equal, NatraSweet, Splenda, Advantage en Miwon

 

Aspartaam

‘n Onlangse Italiaanse studie het aangetoon dat daar ‘n direkte verband tussen die verbruik van aspartaam en Leukemie (bloed kanker) bestaan asook met limfoom kanker.

Daar is baie tegniese redes hoekom aspartaam so nadelig is, maar laat ek net sê dat onder die regte omstandighede dit in dodelik gevaarlike substanse verander wat veelvuldige sklerose en Lupus tot gevolg kan hê.

Aspartaam is ʼn neurotoksiese  bestanddeel  wat met verskeie gesondheids probleme verbind kan word wat insluit: lighoofdigheid, suisende ore, spier en gewrigs pyne, hoofpyne, angs aanvalle, sleeptong, gesigs versteurings, pankreatitis, hoe bloeddruk, bloedklonte in die niere, epileptiese aanvalle, depressie asook geboorte defekte.

Dit beskadig die brein deur die ‘elektriese draadjies’, tussen brein selle, se insulasie af te breek, wat dan kan veroorsaak dat kortsluitings in die brein plaasvind, wat kan lei tot verlies van sekere liggaams funksies.

 

 

Sukralose is ontdek toe wetenskaplikes op soek was na ‘n nuwe insekdoder. Dit is 600 keer soeter as suiker en word gemaak van suiker wat deur veelvuldige chemiese prosesse verander word. Die vervaardigers roem daarop dat dit nie deur die liggaam geabsorbeer word nie en geen kalorieë bevat nie. Omdat dit so soet is, benodig jy onsigbare hoeveelhede om iets uitermatig te versoet. Om die rede word dit dikwels met dekstrose maltodekstrin vermeng om dit te verdun, sodat jy ‘n lepel daarvan kan gebruik. Hierdie veroorsaak dat dit nie kalorie vry is nie. Wetenskaplikes is dit egter eens dat tot 40% deur die liggaam geabsorbeer en gemetaboliseer kan word, wat deel van die rede kan wees hoekom studies wys dat dit die timus klier met tot 40% kan laat krimp (nadelige impak op jou immuunstelsel), vergrote niere en lewer veroorsaak, en die milt en limf nodes laat krimp.

 

Acesulfame (K) of ACK se veiligheids toetse is deur die vervaardiger self gedoen en nie deur onafhanklike laboratoriums nie. Dit is waarskynlik die rede hoekom die oorpronklike studies wat getoon het dat hierdie chemikalie kanker en skildklier probleme in diere veroorsaak geïgnoreer word. Dit is ook aangetoon dat Acesulfame (K) insulien afskeiding stimuleer, sonder die aanwesigheid van suiker, en dus lae bloedsuiker aanvalle kan veroorsaak.

 

Sakkarine: Is die versoeter wat die meeste studies ondergaan het deur die jare. Dit is steeds nie sonder twyfel as veilig vir menslike gebruik bewys nie. Inteendeel daar is wetenskaplikes wat besorg is oor die moontlike skakel tussen sakkarine en kanker. Vanweë die chemiese samestelling kan dit ook die volgende probleme veroorsaak: vel uitslag met erge jeuk, naarheid, diarree, blase op die tong, hoofpyne, hartkloppings en baie meer.

 

2. Ander alternatiewe vir versoeting.

 

Fruktose of vrugte suiker was vir lank deur gesondheids deskundiges as gesond beskou. Meer onlangse studies wys egter dat dit nie so voordelig is as wat gehoop was nie. Fruktose word baie maklik deur die lewer in vet omgeskakel, en kan die sogenaamde goeie cholesterol (HDL) verlaag, hoe bloeddruk veroorsaak, en insulien weerstandigheid verhoog. Ek kan nie nalaat om te noem dat hierdie die gevolge is van hoe inname van fruktose, soos bv. in konfyt, vrugte sappe, vrugte lekkers en vrugte stafies nie. Dit beteken nie dat jy moet ophou om vrugte te eet nie. Klein hoeveelhede HEEL vrugte kan baie voordelig wees.

 

Xylitol is korter op die mark en alhoewel dit tans as "veilig" beskou word is dit belangrik om te weet dat dit nie natuurlik voorkom nie. Dit word chemies afgelei van ‘n sekere boom bas. Alhoewel dit nie so ‘n negatiewe uitwerking op die gesondheid as geheel inhou soos die kunsmatige versoeters nie kan dit diarree en maagkrampe tot gevolg hê as groot hoeveelhede ingeneem word. 'n Verdere probleem is dat dit die liggaam se pH negatief kan beïnvloed.

Xylitol in klein hoeveelhede het ook voordele soos dat dit die opname van B-vitamiene en kalsium verhoog, tandbederf beveg, varser asem bevorder, beter atletiese prestering bevorder en sinus infeksies teen werk.

Indien dit met ‘kunsmatige’ versoeters vergelyk word is dit dus nie naastenby so nadelig nie.

 

3. Gesonde alternatiewe vir suiker.

Stevia is ‘n ekstrak wat van die Stevia plant se blaar. Dit is 100% veilig vir versoeting. Stevia is nie net veilig nie, maar word in sekere dele van die wêreld as medisyne vir diabete gebruik wat help om die funksie van die pankreas te normaliseer. Dit is beskikbaar in poeier, vloeistof en pilletjies. Dit is baie soeter as suiker en dus benodig jy ‘n baie klein hoeveelheid om die soet smaak te veroorsaak.

Heuning is so natuurlik dat die mens dit nog op geen manier kon namaak nie. Afgesien van heuning se medisinale eienskappe is dit ‘n uitstekende versoeter in klein hoeveelhede. Maak seker dat jy heuning van jou omgewing bekom en maak ook seker dat dit rou heuning is. Rou beteken dat dit nie vernietig is deur radioaktiewe bestraling, pasteurisasie of verhitting nie.

 

Indiese Palm suiker of ‘Jaggery’ wat van die Indiese dadel palm gemaak word en rou verkoop word in gesondheids winkels is goedkoop en is uiters natuurlik en besit self medisinale eienskappe.

Rapandura

Rapandura suiker uit Brazilië is ook natuurlik en voeg 'n wonderlike geur by enige iets waarin dit gebruik word.

Agave

Iemand het gesê dat selfvertroue die oomblik is voordat realiteit jou tref! Dit is vir seker waar wanneer mens ʼn nuwe baba het om groot te maak. Vir baie ma’s is dit ʼn skok as hulle tot die volle besef kom dat hul baba volkome afhanklik van hulle is. Sy moet presies weet wat die baba nodig het – en die meeste van die tyd het sy sonder twyfel geen idee wat dit is nie! Dis dan wanneer dit na ʼn goeie opsie lyk om eerder te vlug. . . dis realiteit!

Ek en my vrou het tans agt kinders van ons eie. Ja, een man en een vrou, ek weet dit klink vreemd, maar ons glo regtig die Woord as dit sê dat kinders ʼn seën van die Here is. Hoe dit ook al sy, om die rede het ons amper altyd ʼn baba in die huis, en het ons oor die afgelope seventien jaar baie ondervinding met babas opgedoen. Daarom deel ek graag hierdie kennis met jou, want ek weet hoe jy kan sukkel, en hoe deurmekaar  en soms teenstrydig almal se raad aan jou mag klink.

 

Ek kan met sekerheid sê dat álles wat jy eet ʼn direkte invloed op jou baba het. 

Wanneer jy borsvoed, beïnvloed dit wat jy geëet en gedrink het, jou baba se spysvertering, sy gedrag, en sy slaappatroon! Die algemeenste wanopvatting is dat jy enige iets kan eet en dat net kafeïne jou baba negatief kan beïnvloed.   

 

Sekere kosse kan jou baba ongemaklik laat voel en selfs krampe veroorsaak. Die geheim is om so eenvoudig as moontlik kos te maak en om weg te bly van enige kleur- en geurmiddels. Bly maar by gewone wit see-sout of Himalaja-sout (die pienk sout). Soos wat jou baba ouer word (3-4 maande) kan jy meer geurmiddels soos vars kruie uit die tuin of Kikkoman se soja-sous by jou kos begin voeg.

 

Vermy enige kos wat byvoegsels bevat, veral wors, varkworsies, hoenderwors en boerewors. Bykans alle wors bevat byvoegsels, selfs al is dit natuurlike kruie. Vermy ook spek en enige kos wat in krummels gerol is. Moet ook nie uie, knoffel, broccoli, bone, erte of selfs komkommer eet nie. Bly maar weg van koffie, Cylon-tee, suiker en alle kunsmatige versoeters.

Kosse soos sop-poeier, Aromat en braaivleisspeserye wat MSG of HVP bevat moet vermy word. Vermy alle geurmiddels en preserveermiddels, selfs natuurlike soute soos Herbamare en kerrie poeier.

 

Die heel maklikste is om by suiwer sout te bly, en ja, ek weet dit kan baie eentonig raak, maar jy as mamma gaan ʼn rustiger baba hê wat makliker gaan slaap, en jý gaan kan slaap. Vermy ook alle produkte wat koring en suiwel bevat. Dit beteken dat jy moet wegbly van meeste ontbyt-grane, pasta, muesli, brood, volgraan en saad-brood, muffins, pro-vita en ander beskuitjies.

 

No Dairy

Moet ook nie enige jogurt, melk, kaas, room, roomkaas of roomys eet nie. Jy kan wel botter gebruik. Koring, suiwel en suiker is sekerlik die grootste bron van slegte spysverterings-reaksies soos ekseem, krampe, slaaploosheid, loop-neuse, oor- mangel- sinus- en keel-infeksie.

 

Op die stadium lyk dit sekerlik vir jou of daar niks oor is wat jy wel mag eet nie!

Daar is wel kosse wat veilig is om te eet. Jy moet besef dat jou baba ʼn groot lading op jou liggaam plaas. Om genoeg borsmelk te produseer, is dit belangrik om jou bloedsuiker so stabiel as moontlik te hou. Al hoe jy dit kan regkry is om die korrekte ontbyt te eet. Daarmee bedoel ek kos wat nie te vinnig verteer en dan jou bloedsuiker te vinnig laat styg nie. Moet nie jou dag met vrugte, jogurt, ontbytgraan of iets lig begin nie.

 

Eet met ontbyt ʼn stysel en diere-proteïen saam. Wanneer jy dit doen, verbrand jou liggaam dit stadig en bly jou bloedsuiker konstant. Eet byvoorbeeld 100% rog- of speltbrood saam met eier (gebak, gekook of geroer), hoender, tuna, salm of enige ander vis. Bly weg van die mayonnaise! Indien jy dieselfde beginsel met elke ete toepas, sal jy voortdurend genoeg energie hê en sal jou bloedsuiker stabiel genoeg bly om jou melkproduksie konstant te hou.

ʼn Uitstekende plaasvervanger vir koringmeel is spelt. Nog nooit daarvan gehoor nie? Spelt is ʼn antieke graan wat nog nie soos koring deur die mens ‘verbeter’ is nie. Jy kan dit by ʼn gesondheidswinkel koop en in jou gewone resepte gebruik om mee te bak.

 

Ander kosse wat gewoonlik nie krampe veroorsaak nie is skaapvleis, hoender, eiers, geroosterde vis, aartappels, rys, botterskorsie, organiese -appels, -pere,         -druiwe, -perskes, -wortels, -sampioene, -skorsies en -patats. Jy kan hierdie met gewone sout en ʼn bietjie botter gaarmaak.

 

Maak baie seker dat jy absoluut geen kos in die mikrogolfoond ontvries, verhit of gaar maak nie. Gebruik liefs ʼn stomer of die stoof hiervoor. ʼn Mikrogolfoond veroorsaak veranderinge in die mikro-strukture van enige kos of vloeistof en veroorsaak ʼn ongewenste reaksie in jou brose jongeling.

 

Wanneer dit by vloeistowwe kom, is water al wat oorbly. Dit is nie waar dat te veel water skadelik vir jou liggaam is nie. Dit is die mees lewegewende drankie wat daar op die aarde bestaan! Die mense drink te min water, veral as jy borsvoed het jy baie water nodig.

 

Wanneer jy borsvoed het jou liggaam baie meer water as normaal nodig. Die water behoort gesuiwer te wees met ʼn KDF en koolstof tipe filter en nie met ʼn  distilleerder of tru-osmose sisteem nie. Ek beveel ook vir alle mammas aan om ʼn mineraal supplement soos Concentrace of ioniese koraal-kalsium sakkies in die water te gooi. Dit sal verseker dat jy nie jou belangrike kalsium en ander minerale uit jou dieet verloor nie. Jy kan ook soms tee soos chammomile met fennel-saad drink. Dit het ʼn strelende effek op jou baba en is boonop baie aangenaam.


 

Raad om te volg wanneer jou baba huilerig is:

 

Maak seker baba is nie te warm of te koud nie. Babas is gewoonlik meer gemaklik as hulle bietjie warmer as ons volwassenes aangetrek is. Hulle lyfies het amper geen natuurlike hitte nie, en hulle word sommer baie gou koud . . . en kyk of die doek skoon is.

 

Maak seker baba se magie is vol gedrink. Moet nie baba slegs 5 minute aan die een bors en dan 5 minute aan die ander bors voed nie. Gee vir baba een bors om leeg te drink. Daarna kan hy eenvoudig aan die leë bors suig sonder dat hy oorvoed word. Soos wat baba groter word gaan hy later al twee borste in een voeding leeg drink.

 

Gee ʼn homopatiese chammomile-poeier – dit help om baba rustig te maak sonder enige newe effekte.

 

Indien hy steeds huil en sy beentjies optrek en jy dink hy het dalk ʼn krampie, druk ʼn Spascupreel-pilletjie baie fyn. Druk jou vinger in sy mondjie en met die speeksel aan jou vinger, neem van die poeier en plaas dit in sy mondjie.

 

Indien jy verkeerd geëet het en hy dalk die effek daarvan beleef, druk ʼn Gastricumeel-pilletjie (homopaties) baie fyn. Druk jou vinger in sy mondjie en met die speeksel aan jou vinger, neem van die poeier en plaas dit in sy mondjie.

 

Indien nie een van die bogenoemde werk nie, is dit moontlik dat baba tydens geboorte ʼn werwel of ʼn gewrig effe ontwrig het. Neem hom na ʼn chiropraktisyn wat ondervinding het om babas hiervoor te behandel.

 

Indien baba deur middel van ʼn keisersnit gebore is, het hy nie die vriendelike bakterie in die geboortekanaal ingekry om sy spysverterings stelsel aan die gang te sit nie. Hiervoor beveel ek ABC Dophilus van Solgar aan. Gee baba ¼ tot ½ teelepel per dag om die probleem te herstel.

 

 

Raad om te volg wanneer baba besig is om tande te kry:

 

Jy kan begin deur te kyk of die tandvleis rooi is. As baba sy vingers ongeduldig eet en soms gille uiter, is dit om jou te laat weet hoe irriterend dit is.

 

Probeer wat ek hierbo aanbeveel, maar indien dit nie werk nie, neem ʼn klein bietjie Traumeel S-salf en smeer dit aan die tandvleis.

 

Indien baba koors ontwikkel, kan jy bogenoemde probeer of vir hom Engystol-pilletjies gee. Druk die pilletjie baie fyn. Druk jou vinger in sy mondjie en met die speeksel aan jou vinger, neem van die poeier en plaas dit in sy mondjie. Hierdie help om die immuun stelsel te stimuleer. Indien dit aanhou kan jy Viburcol -setpille gebruik. Dit is 100% veilig en natuurlik.

 

Raad om te volg wanneer baba brand-boudjies het:

 

Hierdie kan as gevolg van tande wees.

 

Wend ʼn klein bietjie Squaline, (van Sevenpointfive) na elke doek wat jy omruil, aan die boudjies. Traumeel S-salf kan ook aan die boudjies gesmeer word.

 

Was baba se boudjies liggies met lou warm water na elke vuil doek en droog dit saggies af.

 

Dis baie belangrik vir jou om aanvullings te neem. Swangerskap, geboorte en borsvoeding neem baie uit jou liggaam en jy behoort ʼn paar supplemente te neem om jou liggaam in ʼn goeie toestand te hou.

 

Begin met ʼn goeie multivitamien formule, die bestes is beskikbaar in gesondheidswinkels. Ek beveel ʼn multivitamien met hoë vitamien B5 (goed vir die stres) van Viridian aan. Neem een met ontbyt.

 

Neem Omega SLO (van Sevenpointfive). Ek beveel dit spesifiek aan omdat dit omega 3 en Squaline bevat asook ander bestanddele wat jou borsmelk uitstekend verryk en jou liggaam van essensiële boublokke vir hormone voorsien.

 

Neem baie water met minerale in soos ek hierbo verduidelik het.

 

Om jou melkproduksie te verhoog, vermy tog asseblief die chemiese middel wat so graag aanbeveel word. Probeer eerder die natuurlike kruie soos fenegriek in tee of kapsule vorm. Drink baie skoon water.

 

Die seerste seer is seker wanneer die nippel kraak, bars of bloei. Baba moet verkieslik aanhou voed aan die bors en mamma moet sterk bly. Smeer ʼn klein bietjie Kamillosan of Lansinoh voor en na elke voeding aan. Dit is belangrik om met die eerste tekens van seer borste, bogenoemde aan te wend. Ons het gevind dat ‘tepel skanse’ uiters effektief is om tepels kans te gee om te herstel tussen voedings. Dit help om die tepels droog te hou en hou klere wat kan skaaf weg.

 

Indien jou tepels reeds so seer is, dat jy skaars daaraan kan raak, mag dit raadsaam wees om jou melk vir ʼn dag of twee uit te pomp om jou tepels kans te gun om te herstel. Laser behandeling deur ʼn fisioterapeut mag help om die helings proses te versnel.  Hierna kan borsvoeding voortgesit word en kan jy voor en na elke voeding ʼn klein bietjie van bogenoemde salf aanwend om jou tepels te beskerm. Hou aan om die ‘tepel skanse’ te gebruik totdat jy 100% herstel het.

 

Indien jy rekmerke ontwikkel het of ʼn nare wond opgedoen het, is Squaline uiters effektief vir die herstel van die wond en dit help om merke te minimaliseer. Wend ʼn klein bietjie aan op die wond of rekmerk. Dis ook raadsaam om net na die geboorte Traumeel S-druppels te neem om jou liggaam se herstel aan te help.

 

Indien jou borste stu of swel of inflammasie ontwikkel, kan jy rou kool blare binne in jou bra druk en gereeld omruil. Ons vind dat Lymphomyosot N  en Traumeel S uiters effektief is om die inflammasie op te klaar. Drink baie water.

 

Psalm 127 en 128 beskryf watter absolute seën kinders is. Gaan lees dit gerus. Ek hoop hierdie help jou om jou baba regtig baie te geniet. Gaan besoek gerus ʼn homeopatiese dokter wat jy vertrou indien jy steeds met baba sukkel. Gaan aanlyn en besoek ons webtuistes waar nog raad beskikbaar is.

Jare gelede het ek met ʼn volwassene in die geloof gesels. In die loop van die gesprek noem hy toe dat hy dink Satan die Christene met ʼn baie groot leun gevang het. Nuuskierig om te weet wat hy bedoel het ek hom daaroor uitgevra. Sy antwoord het iets soos volg gelei.

Vir jare word ons grootgemaak met allerhande lekkernye. Ons geniet van kleins af om lekkertjies, koekies, gegeurde melkies ens. te eet en word ook daarmee beloon.

Soos wat ons groter word, begin ons dan koffie drink met lepels vol suiker daarin. Ons begin gaskoeldranke drink wat belaai is met suiker of kunsmatige versoeters. Ons eet vinnige wegneem etes van bekende handels merke, wat presies weet hoe om ons jong mens verbeelding vas te vang met ʼn waardelose speeldingetjie wat ons “gratis” kry as ons die kindermaaltyd bestel.

 

Wanneer ons tieners word, en nou ons ‘eie kop’ kan volg, is daar die ligte alkoholiese drankies, wat stelselmatig ons jongmens brein voorberei op iets sterker wat in die toekoms gaan volg. Omdat ons as jong tiener groot word, en liggaamlik begin ontwikkel,  raak ons onseker oor waar ons behoort in te pas, en is ons maklik beïnvloedbaar deur vriende, wat rook en geleentheids dwelms gebruik. Ons dink baie keer dat ons tog nie deur ons ouers verstaan word nie, en dat ons vriende ons baie beter verstaan en dat wat ons saam met hulle doen, rigting aan ons lewe gaan gee, ten minste word ons as deel van die groep gesien.

 

Soos wat ons meer kontak met die werklikheid begin verloor, begin ons na iets meer soek, en vind dit dikwels in seksuele verhoudinge. Omdat ons bang is dat ons ouers ons gaan uitvang begin ons maklik leuens vertel oor allerdaagse nuttlooshede.

 

Wanneer ons oud genoeg raak begin ons na-skoolse opleiding of ons soek ‘n werk wat ons kan besig hou, en darem kan betaal vir my en die maat wat by my ingetrek het  en met wie ek soms ʼn seksuele verhouding het.

 

Later verdien jy meer geld, en jou aansien styg, as dit nie gekortwiek word deur swak gesondheid, of swak karakter eienskappe soos leuens,  flirtasies en ander afstootlike gewoontes nie. Jy eet gereeld uit by die aanvaarde sosiale uithang plek, waar die vriende is, en die kos swak is.

 

Kort voor lank besef jy dat jou saamwoon maat nie die een vir jou is nie, en begin jy soek na iemand vars, iemand nuut, net om uit te vind dat jou maat swanger is. Op die punt maak jy een van twee keuses, jy besluit om uit blote pligsbesef met haar te trou, of julle besluit as ‘volwassenes’ om die ‘ongewenste swangerskap te termineer’. Jy regverdig dit baie maklik omdat julle nie ʼn kind in hierdie gebroke wêreld wil inbring nie.

Die keuse was ʼn gemors en julle begin mekaar beskuldig vir wat fout gegaan het. Kort voor lank is julle uitmekaar, of indien julle getroud was, nou in die egskeidings hof.

 

Omdat jou binneste pyn oor die situasie begin jy depressief raak. Jy wil nie pille drink nie, daarom is enige vorm van alkohol ʼn uitweg. By die werk neem stres toe omdat jou produktiwiteit afneem. Omdat alkohol nie in werksure aanvaarbaar is nie, gebruik jy sigarette as die naas beste uitweg om jou ‘stresvolle’ werk  te kan hanteer. Kort voor lank is jou werk op die spel, en jy bevind jou in ʼn ‘loopbaan’ situasie waar jy of jou werk gaan verloor, of toegee aan ʼn goedkoop seksuele verhouding wat vir ʼn kort tydjie uitkoms bied.

 

Later ontmoet jy weer iemand, trou en kry twee kinders. Jy gebruik chemiese kontrasepsie of kry ʼn klein ‘snip-snip’ operasie. Jou kinders en werk is jou hoof fokus in die lewe. Jy ry agter hulle aan, ry hulle rond en kry hulle met ʼn gestoei deur skool en op universiteit.

 

Skielik is jy veertig! Die helfte van jou lewe is verby. Dit tref jou soos ʼn hamer voor die kop  -  dat jy nog bykans niks blywend in die lewe bereik het nie. Skielik lyk die groot huis en die twee karre nie meer so wonderlik nie. Jy begin wonder of daar dalk ʼn ander pad vir jou was, ʼn pad wat jy gemis het? Is hierdie regtig waaroor die lewe gaan? Jy besluit om die gedagte uit jou kop te skuif, want jy moet fokus, jy het vanmiddag ʼn dokters afspraak. Jy het die laaste tyd nie so goed gevoel nie.


Die telefoon lui. Dis die dokter wat skakel om te sê jy moet hom dringend kom sien, daar was iets ‘abnormaal’ in jou roetine bloedtoets.

Jy kom uit die dokter se spreek kamer, verslae, jy kan dit glad nie verstaan nie, hoe kon so iets jou getref het.

Jy bevind jouself met hande vol pille, wat geweldige newe effekte veroorsaak na jou ‘lewensreddende’ operasie.

Jy onthou skielik dat daar een is wat jou gesond kan maak – God.

 

Wat hierdie wyse man probeer uitbeeld het, was dat ons as Christene ons lewe en ons liggame vir ongeveer veertig jaar oorgee aan ons eie giere en luste.

 

Hy gaan toe verder deur te vertel hoe anders dit kon gewees het, en dat ons, ons kinders hieroor behoort te leer.

 

Ons behoort van kleins af ʼn gesonde leef patroon te volg vir beide liggaam en siel. Ons moet leer, dat as ons net een liggaam, en een lewe het, en alhoewel God baie genade het, daar ook blywende gevolge van ʼn roekelose lewe gaan wees.

 

Ons moet van kindsbeen af leer dat ons nie per ongeluk gebore is nie. Dat God ʼn definitiewe uitgewerkte plan vir ons lewe het. Dat God die beste vir ons in stoor het en dat ons dringend moet uitvind wat dit is. Daar word gesê dat as God ʼn nood in die wêreld sien, hy ʼn kind in die wêreld instuur. Ek wonder baie keer hoeveel goddelike politieke leiers, prokureurs, ingenieurs, mode ontwerpers, fotograwe, regisseurs, boere, besigheids manne ens. nooit gebore is nie, omdat hulle ouers kortsigtig was.

 

Sy slot woorde was dat Satan ons vir hierdie leun gevang het, van vergrype aan als wat lekker smaak, lekker klink, lekker lyk en lekker voel.

Wanneer ons egter rondom veertig jaar, die fleur van ons bediening behoort binne te gaan, vind ons uit dat ons cholesterol, bloeddruk, diabetes, arteritis, hartomleidings, bors kanker, gebroke huwelike, rebelse kinders, skuld, depressie en baie meer ons totaal immobiliseer. Hierdie goed neem dan so baie energie om te beveg, dat ons nooit by die roeping uitkom wat God vir ons beplan het.

 

Wat staan jou nou te doen?

Die beste raad wat ek jou kan gee is om self verantwoordelikheid vir jou eie lewe te begin neem.

Neem verantwoordelikheid vir jou eie geestelike groei. Neem verantwoordelikheid vir jou verhoudinge met jou maat, jou kinders en vriendskappe.

Neem verantwoordelikheid vir jou eie gesondheid. God het alles tot jou beskikking gestel. Hy het egter ook ʼn woord van waarskuwing gegee toe Hy gesê het, dat  als aan jou gegee is, maar nie als voordelig vir jou is nie.

 

Vir jou gees en jou gedagtes:

Ek beveel een resep aan: keer terug na die ou wee toe. Keer terug na die Woord van God toe. Die handleiding van die mens was nog nooit so nodig om te volg soos nou nie. Jesus het gesê dat hy die Vader sal bid om vir ons ʼn ander helper te stuur, die Heilige gees, wat ons in alle waarheid sal onderrig. VRA Hom, wat jou te doen staan, en toets ALS wat jy hoor aan die Woord. Gebruik die Woord van God as die lig vir jou pad en die lamp vir jou voet. Lees en bestudeer dit daagliks en vra die Gees om dit vir jou oop te breek.

As die Here iets aan jou openbaar,  - Neem aksie!

 

Vir jou liggaam:

As jou liggaam optimaal funksioneer, is dit soveel makliker vir jou denke om helder te funksioneer.

Keer terug na natuurlike medisyne, soos God dit in die natuur gegee het.

ʼn Paar basiese en eenvoudige dinge wat jy kan doen om beter te voel sluit onder ander die volgende in.

Probeer om sover as moontlik kos te eet wat nie met chemikalie behandel is nie. Eet organiese groente, eiers, vleis en matige hoeveelhede vrugte.

 

Maak seker jy drink genoeg skoon water. Water wat oormatig gefiltreer is, is uiters nadelig vir die liggaam, soos byvoorbeeld, tru-osmose filter of gedistilleerde water. Ek beveel eerder KDF gefiltreerde water aan. Maak seker dat die water wat jy drink ʼn pH van hoër as 7 het. Meer hieroor op my webtuiste.

Sorg dat jy daagliks uitstekende anti-oksidante, salm olie, minerale en vitamien inkry. Ek het al baie hieroor geskryf in vorige uitgawes, lees dit weer.

 

Sorg dat jy alle suiker uit jou dieet uitsny. Indien jy oorgewig is, probeer om vir 90 dae, ALLE soet goed uit jou dieet uit te skakel – selfs vrugte. Jy kan weer later matig vrugte eet. Onthou, die ding wat vet maak en are verstop is nie vet nie, maar fruktose. Fruktose is die ding wat die soet smakie aan daai lekkernye gee. Bly weg vir 90 dae, en kyk wat jou gewig, bloeddruk en cholesterol doen.

 

Vermy alle geprosesseerde vleis soos, salami, polonie, koue vleis, spek, rooi worsies, visvingers ens.

Ek beveel gewoonlik aan dat jy jou eetplan volgens jou bloedgroep begin aanpas, ek sien al vir ʼn dekade uitstekende resultate daarmee. Gebruik dit as riglyn vir wat vir jou voordelig of nadelig is.

 

Stap daagliks vinnig vir vyftien minute as gesin. Gaan doen iets saam met jou maat wat julle nog nooit gedoen het nie!

 

Na vyf dae behoort jou energie te begin terug keer, en sal jy vroeg genoeg kan opstaan om te hoor wat die Here vir die jou te sê het.

Is jou hart seer?

Die hart is die middelpunt van al ons emosionele wese. Wanneer jou hart seer is, lei jou hele liggaam daar onder. Ons fisiese hart is nog meer belangrik, en as hy siek word, is ons in groot moeilikheid.

 

ʼn Maand of twee gelede was die hele land aan die praat oor die hartoperasie wat op nasionale TV uitgesaai was. Dit was voorwaar verstommend om te sien hoe die hart binne in die borskas klop en wat moderne tegnologie kan doen om iemand te help.

Almal is meer bewus daarvan om te sorg dat hulle hartsake in order is. Net soos met ons emosionele hartsake, is dit belangrik om te sorg dat die raad wat jy oor jou hart kry, korrek is, anders kan jou hart dalk nooit optimaal funksioneer nie of kan jy sterf.

 

Die moderne media is baie aggressief met die verspreiding van inligting oor hartvatsiektes.  Ongelukkig is die populêre aanbevelings wat die rondte doen nie altyd in lyn met goeie wetenskaplike feite nie. Indien jou are verstop is met cholesterol, is die eerste ding wat jou dokter aanbeveel, dat jy ʼn geen vet dieet moet volg. Die soort dieet is uiters gevaarlik, omdat jou liggaam vet nodig het om, brein funksies, sel bou funksies en hormoon vervaardiging te kan uitvoer. Indien jy gehoorsaam is, en dit doen, behoort jou cholesterol te normaliseer na wat populêr aanvaar word as ʼn veilige vlak.

Indien nie, skryf jou dokter ʼn Statin voor. Die werk van hierdie chemikalie is om jou cholesterol vlak af te dwing tot die veilige vlak, en dit is dan ook presies wat gebeur. Jy, en jou dokter, is dan gelukkig dat als nou onder beheer is, of so wil hy glo.

 

ʼn Studie wat in die Lancet gepubliseer is, het daarop gewys dat bykans drie kwart van mense wat in die hospitaal beland, met verstopte are, se cholesterol normaal is! Dit beteken dat die dokter tevrede is dat hierdie persone se cholesterol onder die gevaarlike hoë merk is, maar dat hulle are steeds aanhou om te verstop. Dit gebeur dan ook gereeld dat hierdie persone herhaalde omleidings of stente moet kry, ten spyte daarvan dat hulle ʼn normale cholesterol waarde het.

 

Dit spel een ding: Ons oog is op die verkeerde bal. Ons kry die cholesterol af maar dit help nie om lewens te red nie.

Om die waarheid te sê, die bal wat ons dophou werk nie net nie, maar is ook baie gevaarlik! In sy boek “Did your Doctor Tell You?” wys die gerespekteerde Suid Afrikaanse Professor Willem Serfontein op die gevare wat statins inhou, dit sluit onder andere in:

· Verhoogde kans op Kanker,

· Onderdrukking van Insulien vlakke (wat lei tot Diabetes)

· Verswakking van die hartspier (wat lei tot hartversaking)

· Onderdrukking van die immuunstelsel

· Dood van die fyn senu punte in die liggaam

· En nog baie meer!

Nogal ernstige newe effekte, van iets wat jou behoort gesond te maak!
 

Nog ʼn studie wat ook onlangs in die Lancet gepubliseer is wys daarop dat Omega 3 (visolie) baie meer effektief is om lewens te red as wat Statins is.

 

Baie geleerdes probeer rondom die probleem kom deur te redeneer dat jou cholesterol waarde van 4 dalk te hoog is vir jou. Hoe dit ook al sy, die cholesterol trein rol voort en die farmaseutiese maatskappye oes groot.

Daar is egter baie gesonde individue wat rondloop met ʼn hoë cholesterol en wat perfekte are het met geen verstoppings nie.

 

Die vraag ontstaan dan, wat is die eintlike probleem? Hoekom verstop die are? As cholesterol nie die groot vyand is nie, wat is dan?

 

Indien ek jou sou vertel van iets wat veertig maal meer akkuraat is as cholesterol, om hartvatsiektes te voorspel, behoort jou hart vinniger en warm te klop.

 

Wel dis waar. Indien jy ʼn klein bietjie eie inisiatief aan die dag lê, kan jy hierdie toets laat doen en bepaal wat jou eintlike risiko vir hartvatsiektes is.

 

Hierdie belangrike ding waarvan ek praat is Homosistien. Homosistien is ʼn aminosuur wat deur ons liggaam gemaak word uit ons normale dieet. Indien die homosistien waarde in jou bloed te hoog raak, kan jy sommer ʼn hele wa-vrag van siekte toestande ontwikkel en dit sluit in:

· Hartvatsiekes,

· Hartaanvalle

· Osteoporose

· Infertiliteit

· Beroerte

· Kanker

· Diabetes

· Seksuele wanfunksionering

· Hoë bloeddruk

· Alsheimer se siekte

· Geboorte defekte

· En sommer nog 40 ander.

 

Terwyl jou liggaam homosistien maak, deur bloot ʼn normale dieet te volg, word homosistien omgeskakel na twee ander produkte toe. Die een is Sam-e, ʼn hormoon wat jou laat goed voel, die ander is Glutathione – ‘n antioksidant wat jou brein beskerm.

Die probleem ontstaan wanneer die omskakeling van homosistien na hierdie twee voordelige bestanddele, vertraag word of oneffektief raak. Dan bou homosistien op in die bloed en kan veroorsaak dat cholesterol en ander bestanddele aan die binnekant van jou are begin vasplak.

Die rede hoekom die omskakeling van homosistien oneffektief raak, is omdat die mikro – voedingstowwe wat die omskakelings proses moontlik maak, nie beskikbaar is nie. Redes hiervoor kan wees dat jy dit nie inneem nie, of dat jy dit inneem, maar weens ‘n suur pH, absorbeer jou liggaam dit nie genoegsaam uit jou dieet nie.  

 

Net soos cholesterol is homosistien van kardinale belang vir die normale funksionering van jou liggaam, daarsonder, is ons in groot moeilikheid!

Wanneer die vlakke egter verhoog, as gevolg van redes wat ek hierbo genoem het, raak die effek daarvan op die liggaam negatief.
Om te bepaal wat jou vlak van homosistien is, moet jy ʼn patoloog besoek wat ʼn bloedmonster sal neem om die waarde te toets. Dit is nodig dat jy vir ten minste tien ure voor die toets vas, so ek beveel gewoonlik aan dat jy dit eerste ding in die oggend doen en daarna ontbyt eet. Dis egter toelaatbaar om water te drink.

 

In Suid Afrika is die aanvaarbare waardes vir die homosistien lesing tussen 5 en 15. Neem byvoorbeeld ʼn geval waar jou bloeduitslag ʼn waarde van 10 aandui, volgens die patoloog (en jou dokter) is hierdie waarde perfek. Die Suid Afrikaanse strekwydte van 5 tot 15 is ongelukkig te wyd, en kan baie misleidend wees.

Indien jy egter die beste vir jou hart en hartvate wil doen, behoort jy te poog om jou homosistien waarde onder 7 te kry. In ander dele van die wêreld is die boonste grens reeds verlaag, om die net nouer om die veilige sone te trek.

 

Om jou homosistien waarde af te bring is ook nie te moeilik, of duur nie, en jy hoef nie duur en gevaarlike chemikalie te neem daarvoor nie.

 

Daar is ʼn paar vitamiene en minerale wat nodig is om te neem, en dan behoort jou waarde stadig te verlaag tot binne die veilige vlak van onder 7.

 

Indien jou waarde tussen 9 en 15 is, kan die volgende help om die waarde te verlaag:

· Folien suur - 1200 mikrogram

· Vitamien B12 -  1 mikrogram

· Vitamien B6 – 75 mg

· Vitamien B2 – 20 mg

· Sink  - 15 mg

· TMG 2000mg

Neem dit dan daagliks. Indien jou waarde laer is, byvoorbeeld 8, kan jy die hoeveelhede halveer en indien dit bo 15 is, is dit raadsaam om effe meer te neem.

 

Indien jy dink dit klink te ingewikkeld vir jou, maak gerus ʼn draai by jou naaste gesondheids winkel, want daar is bestaande formules beskikbaar wat al hierdie aanvullers in een kapsule bevat. Neem hierdie aanvulling vir twee maande, en laat jou waarde dan weer toets. As als goed gaan behoort jou waarde aansienlik laer te wees. Indien jy sukkel om jou waarde af te bring, is daar meer areas van jou gesondheid wat ook aandag nodig het, hiervoor beveel ek aan dat jy na my DVD reeks, Understanding The Health Puzzle, kyk.

 

Dit is egter ook belangrik om van jou gewoontes effe aan te pas. Hier volg ʼn paar riglyne.

· Verminder inname van te vetterige vleis, en eet organiese vleis waar moontlik.

· Vermy egter alle margarien en vervang dit eerder met ʼn bietjie botter of palm vrug olie (Carotino) en moenie olyf olie gebruik om jou pan te smeer nie. Die verhitting van die olyf olie maak dit ongesond, gooi dit eerder oor jou kos, nadat jy dit gebraai het.

· Eet organiese groen groentes.

· ʼn Huisie knoffel ʼn dag is baie voordelig – indien die smaak te sterk is, kan jy dit sommer insluk soos ʼn kapsule.

· Vervang gewone wit tafel sout met organiese Himalayan Kristal sout – hierdie sout is gebalanseerd met al die minerale en is baie voordelig om te gebruik, veral, as jy hoë bloeddruk het.

· Verminder jou inname van kafeïne soos in koffie, tee en sjokolade.

·  Beperk jou inname van alkohol tot ʼn minimum.

· Neem ʼn goeie maak multivitamien, verkieslik in kapsulevorm.

· Neem 3000mg tot 6000mg Omega 3 per dag.

· Neem ʼn wye spektrum anti-oksidant.

· Indien jy rook, is dit bykans onmoontlik om jou homosistien vlak te verlaag.

· Sorg dat jou liggaam se pH alkalies is – soos ek in vorige artikels verduidelik het moet jou speeksel ph omtrent 7.5 wees.

· Verhoog jou water inname.

· Kruie soos rooi peper en “Hawthorn” bessie is uitstekende natuurlike tonikums vir jou hart. Indien jy op cholesterol medisyne is of was, is dit uiters belangrik om met ekstra Co-ensiem Q10 aante vul, aangesien hierdie chemiese middels Co-Q10 uitput wat lei tot hartversaking.

 

Ek het ʼn klomp tegniese inligting met jou gedeel, maar dit is baie belangrik om korrek na jou liggaam om te sien. Wanneer ons liggame optimaal funksioneer, kan ons optimaal in die koninkryk van God aangewend word.

Die moderne tye word gekenmerk deur die elektroniese media. Kanse is baie goed dat jy al blootstelling gehad het aan verwarrende media berigte oor voedsel supplemente. Jy het waarskynlik ook al gewonder of dit regtig nodig is om vitamine te neem, want, sê die media baie keer, dis oneffektief en net ʼn geldmaak besigheid.

 

Wat bydra tot die verwarring is dat sogenaamde mediese kenners soms gevaarlike uitlatings maak soos:

· Alles wat ons liggame benodig, kry ons in ʼn gesonde gebalanseerde dieet.

· Daar is nie bewyse dat aanvullers veilig is nie.

· Aanvullers veroorsaak net duur urine.

· Daar is geen bewyse dat vitamine enige terapeutiese effek het nie.

Indien jy dan die kenner in jou lewe daaroor uitvra, wat gewoonlik jou dokter of dieetkundige is, sal hulle sonder om te blik of te bloos dadelik bogenoemde stellings bevestig.

Indien jy egter ʼn gerespekteerde kenner op die gebied van natuurlike medisyne raadpleeg, gewoonlik ʼn naturopaat of kliniese voedingkundige, sal jy ʼn heel ander beeld kry.

As jy die soort uitlatings lees of hoor is jy dan so verward dat jy sommer niemand wil glo nie en ophou om enige supplemente te neem.

 

Wat is die waarheid?

 

In die vorige uitgawe het ek gesê die eerste plek om te begin, is om te verstaan dat as jou liggaam uit gesonde selle bestaan wat goed gevoed is, dit gesonde weefsel sal vorm. Gesonde weefsel sal dan gesonde organe vorm. Gesonde organe vorm dan gesonde sisteme, en wanneer sisteme gesond is en optimaal funksioneer, kom simptome nie voor nie. Die boublokke van ons selle is ondermeer:

 

· 72 spoor minerale wat al ons ensiem prosesse laat werk,

· 26 Vitamine wat ons immuunstelsel, brein en ander funksies laat werk,

· 21 Aminosure wat ons brein, spiere en ander funksies voed,

· 2 Essensiële vetsure (omega 3 & 6)  

· 8 suikers wat die kommunikasie tussen ons selle hanteer

· antioksidante wat ons selle beskerm teen vrye radikale, wat ons uit besoedeling en ander bronne opdoen.

 

Indien ons nie hierdie mikro voedingstowwe op ʼn daaglikse basis inneem nie word ons selle arm aan voeding en kan siektes begin ontstaan. As jy dan die onnatuurlike medisyne roete volg word jy nooit die ontbrekende voedingstowwe aangebied nie, maar eerder giftige chemiese middels, terwyl jou selle skreeu vir kos! ʼn Honger sel kan nooit gevoed word deur ʼn chemiese middel, bestraling of deur dit weg te sny nie.

 

Moderne boerderymetodes en voedsel prosesserings  metodes stroop voedsel van  hierdie uiters belangrike mikro voedingstowwe, en ons liggame kry dit nie meer genoeg mikro voeding deur dieet in nie. Voorbeelde hiervan is kunsmis formules wat meestal net 3 van die 72 belangrike minerale bevat. Wanneer jy 3-2-1 of 2-3-2 op jou gras of blomme strooi, gooi jy ʼn mengsel van Kalium, Stikstof of Fosfor op jou plante (3 minerale), maar jy is kort aan die ander 69 uiters belangrike minerale. Die drie minerale is al wat nodig is om of mooi vrugte te dra, of mooi blare te groei, bv. spinasie, of wortels, beet en uie.

 

Wat sake verder versleg, is, omdat boere nie alles in die grond terug plaas wat nodig is nie, word die plante siek, net soos ons selle. Die boer volg dan dieselfde onnatuurlike chemiese pad om die honger plant te behandel, en spuit giftige middels om die plant siekte vry te maak. Net soos in die liggaam gaan die siekte simptoom vir ʼn kort rukkie weg, maar die middel veroorsaak ook intussen ander probleme.

In die grond waar die plant groei, leef daar miljoene mikro organismes wat deur die middel gedood word. Hierdie is nodig om van die grondstowwe om te skakel vir plant voeding. Dit gebeur dan nie meer nie en die plant word weer siek, waarop meer chemiese middels toegedien word, net soos in ons liggame. Baie van hierdie middels word sistemies deur die plant opgeneem en wanneer ons die plant eet, kry ons oorblyfsels van hierdie chemiese middels in en dit kan weer katastrofiese gevolge in ons liggame tot gevolg hê.

 

Wanneer vrugte of groente aan die plant ryp word, gebeur daar wonderlike dinge. In die laaste paar uur van die ryp word proses stel die pitte van die vrug, phyto-chemikalieë vry in die vrug. Hierdie plant chemikalieë is deels om die vrug te bewaar, en deels vorm dit die bou blokke van ander baie belangrike mikro voedingstowwe wat ek vroeër genoem het naamlik, vitamine, die agt suikers en ook ʼn reeks anti-oksidante.

 

In die moderne wêreld van massa boerdery, ketting winkels, supermarkte en lang raklewe, is dinge egter drasties verskillend van hierdie idilliese voedsame vrugte en groente. Om die tamatie rooi op die supermark rak te kry, word dit groen gepluk, lank voor dit aan die plant kon ryp word. Dus word daardie uiters voedsame plant chemikalieë nooit vrygestel nie, met die gevolg dat die vrug mooi lyk, aanvaarbaar proe, maar weinig van die mikro voeding bevat.

 

Jy mag dalk organiese groente en vrugte by jou bekende hoë kwaliteit voedsel en kleding ketting winkel koop en reken jy is goed gevoed. Organies geproduseerde produkte word gewoonlik nie met giftige middels behandel nie, en dus is jy vry van daardie gifstowwe in jou gebruik van die produk. Alhoewel organies geproduseerde produkte verseker beter is as nie-organiese produkte, eet jy steeds ʼn vrug of groente wat nie aan die plant ryp geword het nie omdat dit ook te vroeg gepluk word. Jou selle trek dus steeds aan die kortste ent wat voeding betref.

 

Dieselfde probleme geld ook ten opsigte van hoender, skaap en bees boerderye

 

Die vraag ontstaan dan, watter supplemente, hoe gereeld en hoeveel behoort ek te neem.

Eerstens is dit belangrik om te besef dat alle voedselaanvullers nie gelyk is nie. Miskien het jy al met mense te doen gehad wat een of ander natuurlike produk aan jou wil verkoop en jou hand mond beloof dat hierdie maak die heel beste in die wêreld is, dat dit deur een of  ander professor of dokter onderskryf word ens.

Alhoewel dit in uitsonderlike gevalle waar mag wees, word mense se persepsies baie beïnvloed deur hoeveel geld hulle daaruit maak. Die feit dat een of ander geleerde of bekende persoon die produk gebruik of onderskryf maak dit nie noodwendig die beste in die wêreld nie.

 

Hoe weet mens of ʼn aanvuller goed of sleg is?

 

Daar is ʼn paar maatstawwe om die kaf van die koring te skei.

1. Die chemiese vorm waarin die aanvuller voorkom. Neem bv. kalsium wat een van die mees algemene aanvullers is. Meeste kalsium aanvullers is in die elementale vorm(soos uit die grond gehaal), wat beteken dit is ʼn klip. Wanneer laas het jy ʼn klip vir aandete gehad? Die mens is eenvoudig nie gemaak om klippe te eet nie. Indien jy die klip baie, baie fyn maal, bly dit steeds klip en is steeds baie moeilik absorbeerbaar vir die liggaam. Die vorm van kalsium is dus nie ʼn goeie keuse nie. Ook moet kalsium altyd saam met ander minerale voorkom om goed deur die liggaam opgeneem te word. Die beste vorm van kalsium is gesuiwerde ioniese koraal kalsium van Okinawa in Japan. Hierdie kalsium kom in ʼn sakkie wat jy in jou filter water gooi en dan deur die dag drink. Dit bevat ook al (72) minerale wat jou liggaam nodig het vir optimale funksie. Hierdie soort kalsium is ook die enigste manier wat effektief die liggaam se pH kan beheer, soos ek in die vorige artikel verduidelik het.

2. So na aan God se skepping as moontlik. Neem ʼn vitamien aanvulling wat so natuurlik as moontlik is. Van die mees bekende vitamien formules word van sintetiese vervaardigde vitamine gemaak. Alhoewel dit steeds effektief is, kan jy beter doen deur te soek vir iets wat van plantaardige materiaal gemaak word.  Dis gewoonlik meer natuurlik en is makliker vir die liggaam om te absorbeer. Probeer altyd om ʼn aanvuller te neem wat so omvattend as moontlik is, dis beter as om tien talle verskillende middels te neem.

3. Hoeveel bottels is nodig? Mense vra my gereeld vir een pil wat als bevat. Dit is om te vra vir een kossoort wat als bevat wat jy nodig het – dit bestaan nie. Sommige vitamine is water oplosbaar terwyl ander vet oplosbaar is. Die twee meng nie in een kapsule nie. Dis nodig dat jou liggaam al die voedingstowwe wat ek bo genoem het daagliks moet inkry om optimale voeding te verseker. Daar is goeie produkte beskikbaar wat die regte soort minerale, plant afgeleide vitamine, suikers en antioksidante bevat. Onder normale omstandighede behoort die volgende voldoende te wees. Multi -Vitamien formule, Koraal Kalsium sakkies vir jou water, ʼn wye spektrum anti-oksidant, Hoë kwaliteit visolie vir omega 3 en ʼn supplement wat die 8 suikers bevat.  Sorg dat jy die beste kwaliteit koop wat jou sak kan bekostig.

4. Oppas vir die gratis ekstras. Wanneer jy volgende keer jou aanvuller koop, kyk vir die ‘onaktiewe’ bestanddele of gewoon die bestanddele lys. Hierdie dui die vullers, bindmiddels, vloeimiddels, kleurmiddels, geurmiddels en preserveermiddels aan. Jou supplement, behoort geen van hierdie te bevat nie. Indien daar nie so ʼn lys op jou bottel verskyn nie, los die maak en soek ʼn vervaardiger met integriteit.  Oppas vir die goedkoop reekse op ketting winkel rakke. Wees veral versigtig vir kinder supplemente wat helder kleure, suiker en ander geurmiddels en preserveermiddels bevat. Dis ook die beste om produkte te koop wat in bruin of blou glas bottels en in kapsule vorm eerder as tablet verpak word. Jou gesondheids winkel kan gewoonlik die beste raad in die geval gee.

5. Hoeveel is daagliks nodig? Baie vitamien vervaardigers wys ʼn 100% RDA waarde. Die “Recommended Daily Allowance” is veronderstel om genoeg vir jou te wees. Hierdie is egter baie ou en soms arbitrêre waardes met min of geen effektiwiteit nie. Indien jou selle baie honger was vir ʼn lang tyd, benodig jy meer aanvulling. Die goue reël is, gebruik soveel as wat vir jou effektief is. Besoek weereens jou gesondheids winkel en vra vir ʼn aanvuller wat tipies baie hoër as RDA waardes bevat.

6. Voedsel aanvullers is wat die naam aandui. Dis nie medisyne nie. Dis eenvoudig substanse wat kortkom in ons dieet, en daarom ontstaan siektes. Om mediese aansprake te maak vir voedsel of voedsel aanvullers is baie misleidend. Omdat dit bloot voedingstowwe in kapsule vorm is maak dit, dit nie ʼn medisyne en dus gevaarlik nie, dis bloot kos vir jou selle.

7. Jy het duur urine nodig. Mense vra gereeld of die aanvullers nie net duur urine produseer nie. Die feit dat as jy water drink en daarna urineer is ʼn normale fisiologiese funksie. Beteken dit dan dat omdat jy water uitskei, jy dit nie behoort in te neem nie? Natuurlik nie! Dit het tog belangrike funksies in jou liggaam voordat dit uitgeskei word. Dieselfde is ook waar vir kos wat jy eet en aanvullers wat jy neem. As die liggaam dit nie kon uitskei nie en dit kon net akkumuleer in die liggaam (soos sommige chemiese middels) sou aanvullers giftig gewees het.

Met die moderne tegnologie wat beskikbaar is in landbou en voedsel verwerking behoort die kwaliteit van ons kos beter en beter te word. Die teenoorgestelde is egter waar, meer en meer siektes toestande ontwikkel en wel op ʼn vroeër ouderdom as in die verlede. Selde koppel media en ander bronne hierdie toename aan die moderne dieet wat ons het, anders as om te se ons moet geen vet eet nie.

 

In die vorige uitgawe het ons gesels oor water en hoe om jou liggaam skoon te maak deur die regte soort en hoeveelheid water in te neem. Ons sien hierdie as die eerste en die mees belangrikste begin om jou liggaam skoon te maak.

 

Die volgende legkaart stuk in die skoonmaak van jou liggaam is die kos wat ons eet.  Baie mense verkeer onder die wan indruk dat kos maar weinig invloed op ons liggaam het anders as om ons vet of maer te maak. Ons besef gewoonlik nie dat ons dieet direkte invloed op ons gesondheid het nie.

 

Met soveel verskillende opponerende diëte wat die lig sien, is dit geen wonder dat die meeste mense moed opgee om te probeer gesond eet nie.

 

Die meeste christene met wie ek konsulteer, glo, dis eenvoudig genoeg om te bid oor jou kos en dan is alles reg en goed vir die liggaam. Ek wonder soms of ons regtig verstaan wat dit beteken om te bid voor ons eet?

In die tye toe Jesus op die aarde geloop het, was daar nie die moderne preserveermiddels en prosesserings prosesse  wat daar vandag bestaan en wat  die oorspronklike voedsame kos stroop van uiters noodsaaklike mikro voedings stowwe nie. Die landbou was nie gekommersialiseerd soos vandag met kunsmatige voedings stowwe, groei hormone, genetiese modifikasie en gifstowwe nie.

Die voedsel van antieke tye was baie ryk in minerale, vitamiene en essensiële plantaardige chemikalieë.  

 

Die gebruik om vir jou kos te bid kon dus nie betrekking gehad het op die voedings waarde (of die gebrek daaraan nie) maar het eerder ʼn geestelike konnotasie. Daar was gereeld offers aan vreemde gode gebring. Paulus verduidelik dit baie mooi as hy sê dat enige iets waaroor jy bid geheilig of afgesonder gemaak word deur dit aan God te wy deur gebed. (1Timoteus 4:5)

Dit beteken nie dat ʼn stuk hout in ʼn filet verander word deur gebed nie, of dat jou uitstekende bemarkte gunsteling koeldrank van gif vir jou selle in ʼn lewegewende drankie verander nie.

 

Watter soort kos is dan reg en goed vir ons liggame?

Die bladsye van hierdie tydskrif is nie genoeg om dit breedvoerig te bespreek nie, maar ek sal ʼn paar riglyne gee waarvolgens jy jou dieet kan bepaal. Ek gee meer breedvoerig aandag aan die aspek in die reeks : Understaning the health puzzle.

 

In die tuin van Eden het God vir Adam en Eva gesê  wat hulle kan eet en dit was net plantaardige kos (Genesis 1:29-30).

 

Daarna kom die sonde val en God jaag hulle uit die tuin uit. Nadat hulle uit die tuin is, bly die dieet dieselfde. (Genesis 3:18)

 

Dan kom die sondvloed en nadat die aarde totaal verander het gee God vir Noag ʼn ander dieet. Hulle kon nou als eet wat beweeg. Met ander woorde, hulle kon nou alle vlies eet, asook plante. (Genesis 9:1-4)

Van Noag tot by Moses verloop daar ʼn tyd waar mense als kon eet wat hul kon vang of pluk.

In Levitikus 11 verander God vir altyd die mens se dieet. Hier gee hy toe vir die mens net sekere kosse om te eet. God gee vir Moses ʼn koderings stelsel om te bepaal of iets rein of onrein is.

Vir meeste Christene is hierdie bepalings van die Ou Testament egter vergete wettiese reëls. Dis tog interessant dat ons die tien gebooie as tydloos sien en geen aandag gee aan wat God gee as dieet nie. Miskien moet ons weer kyk na wat God voorstel.

 

Ongelukkig word baie moderne christene verwar deur die wit laken wat Petrus gesien het (Hand 10:9-16). In kort was die betekenis van die wit laken uit die hemel met onrein diere daarin, nie dat onrein diere nou rein was nie, maar bloot dat die evangelie na die heidene geneem kon word(Hand 10:19,28). Meer hieroor in die DVD soos ek vroeër genoem het.

 

Wat sê God dan oor ons eet gewoontes?

Om die vraag in ʼn moderne samelewing te antwoord is dit belangrik om te sien wat God oor ons liggame sê:  

“Of besef julle nie dat julle liggaam ’n tempel van die Heilige Gees is nie? Julle het die Heilige Gees, wat in julle woon, van God ontvang, en julle behoort nie aan julleself nie” 1 Korintiërs 6:19

Ons liggame is ʼn tempel van God. Dis duidelik uit hierdie en ander gedeeltes dat God sy tempels op aarde, goed daaruit wil laat sien. As jy jou tempel met gesonde voedsame kos bou, sal dit goed lyk en lank kan hou. As jy egter verfynde ongesonde kos  gebruik om jou tempel mee te bou gaan dit nie goed lyk nie en sommer gou siek word en verbrokkel.

 

 “Daar is mense wat sê: ALLES is my geoorloof.” Ja, maar nie alles is heilsaam nie. “Alles is geoorloof,” sê hulle. Ja maar alles is nie opbouend nie. (1 Korintiërs 10:23)  Sal jy byvoorbeeld dood neerslaan as jy vark eet? Nee, beslis nie, maar gereelde gebruik daarvan kan nare gevolge hê (moderne wetenskap bevestig dit), so ook van die ander soorte kosse wat God sê ons nie behoort te eet nie.

 

Deur ondervinding het ek gesien dat as die mens probeer om God se skeppings reëls en voorskrifte te verbeter, dit gewoonlik katastrofies eindig.

 

In daaglikse konsultasies met honderde kliente het ek oor jare gesien dat daar basies drie groot allergene is.

 

Die eerste is koring produkte. Ja u het reg gelees – koring. Die probleem daarmee is dat die oorspronklike koring sewe gene gehad het maar deur dit te “verbeter” sodat dit pes bestand is, in amper enige toestand groei en baie groot opbrengste kan lewer, word dit nie meer effektief deur ons spysverterings ensieme afgebreek nie. Dit veroorsaak dan dat ons liggame verskeie negatiewe reaksies toon. Omdat koring in amper alles is wat ons eet, verbind ons dit selde aan ongemaks toestande soos spysverterings, vel, sinus en ander probleme.

ʼn Wonderlike plaasvervanger vir koring is spelt. Spelt is baie nader aan die oorspronklike koring korrel. Dus verstaan ons liggame hoe om dit af te breek en te gebruik. Moenie skrik nie – kyk net rond in gesondheids winkels en jy sal dit maklik opspoor. Gebruik jou eie bestaande resepte en vervang jou koring meel eenvoudig met spelt meel.

 

Die tweede groot allergeen is melk en melk verwante produkte. Ons gebruik melk, kaas en jogurt op ʼn daaglikse basis. Omdat melk gepasteuriseer en gehomogeniseer word, word al die ensieme wat God daarin geplaas het om ons liggame te help om dit te verteer vernietig. In ons spysverterings stelsel heers daar dan konstante oor produksie van spysverterings ensieme wat in mukus voorkom. Sistemies verhoog mukus produksie in ons liggaam en ons is meer geneigd tot lugweg infeksies, sinus probleme en oor probleme soos ons sien in klein kindertjies wat gereeld jogurt eet en melk drink. Borsmek is ALTYD die beste.

In die plek van melk kan rys melk met gemak gebruik word. Nou wonder jy dadelik waar jy jou kalsium gaan kry? Wel, die kalsium wat jy uit die melk behoort te kry is maar taamlik moeilik absorbeerder vir jou liggaam omdat die pasteurisasie proses die kalsium kristal struktuur beskadig. Soos ek in die vorige artikel genoem het is die koraal kalsium in die water ʼn beter opsie vir goeie kalsium. Donker groen blaar groente is ook ʼn goeie bron van kalsium.

 

Die derde groot allergeen is suiker.

Meeste mense dink hulle gebruik min suiker. Dit mag wees, maar het jy al oorweeg hoeveel verskuilde suiker jy inneem in koeldranke, fyngebak, ontbyt graan, nageregte, roomys, toebroodjie smere, koffie en tee?

 

Omdat suiker ongeveer sewentien keer verfyn word voordat jy dit inkry, is dit totaal gestroop van alle goeie mikro voedings stowwe en kry jy basies suiwer glukose in.

Glukose vereis amper geen omskakeling in jou spysverterings kanaal nie en word baie vinnig deur die liggaam opgeneem en maak jou buierig omdat dit jou bloed suiker vlakke te vinnig laat styg. Na so ʼn vinnige styging reageer die liggaam deur oor te kompenseer en te veel insulien af te skei, wat jou bloedsuiker vlak weer te vinnig laat daal. Dit is hoekom jy so ʼn emosionele “hoog” ervaar nadat jy suiker ingeneem het, maar kort daarna ʼn laagtepunt beleef, as jou bloedsuiker vlak weer val. Op die langduur kan dit jou kanse op diabetes baie verhoog.

Suiker onderdruk ook jou immuniteits stelsel. Dit maak dat jy meer vatbaar is vir bakterie wat jou selle probeer binne dring.

Die beste plaasvervanger vir wit of bruin suiker is natuurlijke "Rapandura" Suiker. Dit kan ook met gemak in gebak gebruik word en werk net soos suiker in en die hoeveelhede bly ook dieselfde as suiker in jou resepte. Kunsmatige versoeters is nooit ʼn goeie alternatief vir suiker nie.

 

In kort is dit belangrik om die dinge uit jou dieet te verwyder wat die meeste probleme veroorsaak. Oor ʼn lank tyd met baie mense het ek besef dat koring produkte, melk produkte en suiker die meeste gesondheids wanbalanse veroorsaak of vererger.

Ek glo ook ons moet terugkeer na die Woord en meer aandag gee aan wat God voorstel as goed sleg vir sy skepsels en gelukkig is daar wonderlike gesonde voedsame alternatiewe wat ons met gemak kan gebruik om ons boere etes aantreklik en smaaklik voor te berei.

Soos baie ander dinge in die lewe, word ons gesondheid ook deur ʼn paar grondbeginsels onderhou. Ons Skeppergod, het toe Hy ons liggame gemaak het, bepaal dat ons aan sekere beginsels onderwerp sou wees. Ons moet bv. voedsame kos en water inneem, genoeg oefening en rus kry anders neem die funksies van ons liggame doodgewoon af en sterf ons, dalk voordat ons die taak wat Hy ons opgelê het, kon voltooi.

In vorige artikels het ons gekyk na die kwaliteit en hoeveelheid water wat ons liggame nodig het, ook watter soorte moderne kossoorte probleme in ons liggame mag veroorsaak en hoe ons dit met uitstekende alternatiewe kan vervang. Ek kry gereeld vra oor hoe mens regtig seker kan wees dat jy gesond leef , is daar dan nie ʼn manier wat mens kan gebruik om te bepaal hoe gesond jy  regtig is nie, of leef jy maar net voort en hoop vir die beste?

 

Baie van die moderne mediese wetenskap is egter beperk tot die behandeling van ʼn siektestoestand, nie die voorkoming daarvan nie. Daar is bv. meer as die helfte van mense wat in die hospitaal beland met aangepakte are, wie se cholesterol vlakke normaal is. Dit beteken dood eenvoudig dat die groot geveg teen cholesterol nie so effektief is as wat ons wysgemaak word nie, iets anders is ʼn belangriker faktor in  die aanpaksels in ons are – meer hieroor op ʼn volgende keer.

 

Jou dokter en polisieman is goeie ouens om byderhand te hê wanneer ʼn noodsituasie onstaan. Maar net soos die polisieman maar min kan doen voordat ʼn misdaad gepleeg is, kan jou dokter min doen aan jou gesondheid voordat ʼn simptoom kop uitsteek. In baie gevalle is dit dan reeds te laat. By vyftig persent van vroue, met hart probleme, is die eerste simptoom, wanneer hulle dood neerval – sonder enige vroeëre waarskuwing of simptome!

 

Die moderne manier van siektes behandel is om te wag tot ʼn simptoom voorkom en om dan daardie simptoom te probeer onderdruk deur behandeling. Neem bv. ʼn hoofpyn wat behandel word deur ʼn hoofpynpil te neem. Die hoofpyn is egter selde ʼn toestand in dit self, dis veel eerder ʼn waarskuwings sein van die liggaam dat iets onderliggend fout is. Maar as ons die hoofpyn behandel het, deur dit te onderdruk, voel ons, ons was suksesvol. Die onderliggende probleem is egter steeds daar en soek slegs na ʼn volgende manier om jou te laat weet dat daar ʼn probleem bestaan.

Sien, ʼn simptoom onstaan in ʼn sekere sisteem (bv. die spysverterings stelsel). Sisteme bestaan uit spesifieke organe (bv. die maag of die kolon. Organe bestaan uit weefsel en die weefsel bestaan weer uit selle.

Wanneer ons dus ʼn simptoom soos ʼn hoofpyn behandel, gee ons bloot die liggaam ʼn chemikalie wat die orgaan binne in ʼn spesifieke sisteem vir ʼn tydjie buite aksie stel en jou op die oppervlak beter laat voel. Die onderliggende weefsel en selle is egter steeds ongesond, en wanneer die orgaan dan weer begin lewe voel, kom die simptoom weer na vore. Dit raak dan ʼn bose kringloop totdat ons genoeg van die orgaan gehad het en dit laat uitsny – wat steeds nie die probleem oplos nie, aangesien God dit daar geplaas het vir ʼn baie spesifieke rede, en dit kan nie nou meer vervul word nie.

Ek sien gereeld mense wat sommer ʼn lys chemiese pille neem. Een vir bloeddruk, een vir cholesterol, een vir diabetes en dan voel hulle so depressief dat ʼn antidepressant en slaappil ook nodig is. Hierdie konkoksie laat die kolon dan gaan stil staan, en daarvoor gebruik hulle dan ʼn gewoontevormende lakseer middel. So dink hulle dan het hulle al die simptome goed behandel...

 

 

Wel, daar is maniere om te weet of jy gesond is en hoe gesond jy regtig is.

Die eerste plek om te begin is om te verstaan dat as jou liggaam uit gesonde selle bestaan, sal hulle gesonde weefsel bou. Gesonde weefsel sal dan gesonde organe vorm. Gesonde organe vorm dan gesonde sisteme, en wanneer sisteme gesond en optimaal funksioneer, kom simptome nie voor nie.

Die vraag is dan, hoe weet jy dat jou selle gesond of ongesond is?

Gesonde selle word gevoed deur mikro nutriënte, waarvan ons daagliks sommer ʼn hele klomp benodig waaronder; 72 spoor minerale, 26 Vitamiene, 21 Aminosure, 2 Essensiële vetsure, 8 suikers, antioksidante en nog meer. Omdat ons moderne kos ons nie meer van baie van hierdie voedingstowwe kan voorsien nie moet ons dit gewoonlik in een of ander soort aanvulling inneem. Hieroor sal ons op ʼn volgende keer gesels.

Wat egter baie meer fundamenteel is, is dat ons hierdie mikro voedingstowwe moet kan absorbeer, tot in die selle, wat dit nodig het om korrek te funksioneer, en dan begin om gesonde weefsel te bou, wat op hul beurt weer gesonde organe bou en so voorts totdat ons werklik gesond is.

 

Die sentrale faktor in jou liggaam wat bepaal of voedingstowwe opgeneem word of nie, is iets wat ons jou pH noem. Dit is doodgewoon ʼn aanduiding van hoe suur of alkalies jou liggaam is. Ek moet dadelik noem dat baie mense dit verkeerdelik met maagsuur en sooibrand verbind, nee die suur of alkali waarvan ek hier praat is die soort ding wat kan veroorsaak dat jy seer spiere of seer gewrigte of talle ander siektes ontwikkel.

Vergelyk dit met jou swembad. As die pH balans van jou swembad te suur is, gewoonlik onder 7 dan begin dinge skeef loop. Alge en ander goggas begin groei, die water raak troebel en kan later begin sleg ruik. Wanneer die pH egter bo 7 is, gewoonlik 7.2, is dit alkalies en kan hierdie soort goggas nie groei nie en geniet almal die plesier van skoon helder blou water.

 

Dit werk baie dieselfde in jou liggaam. Wanneer die pH te suur is kan goggas soos bakterie en ander begin groei en siektestoestande begin ontwikkel. Hierdie suur pH in ons liggame is dan ook die mees belangrike faktor wat bepaal of ons voedingstowwe die selle bereik, al dan nie. Ons kan die pH meet deur ʼn eenvoudige speeksel toets te doen met ʼn stukkie litmus papier. Wanneer die litmus papier met die speeksel in aanraking kom verander dit van kleur na gelang van ons pH. Gewoonlik word die papiertjie meer geel of groen as ons suur is of blou as ons pH alkalies is.  Die pH van ons speeksel verteenwoordig die pH van ʼn belangrike oordrag vloeistof tussen ons bloedvaatjies en ons selle, en die pH hiervan behoort ʼn ideaal van 7.5 te handhaaf. Indien die pH onder 7 is kan oordrag van ons mikro voedingstowwe nie effektief plaasvind nie en word ons weefsel selle siek as gevolg van te min kos, en dan begin die proses van ongesonde organe ens. weer van voor af.

 

In die allerdaagse lewe is daar sommer baie dinge wat kan maak dat ons te suur is. Die grootste hiervan is dit wat ons verkeerd eet en drink. Hierdie is die verfynde of geprosesseerde kosse of  kosse of koeldrank wat belaai is met suiker of ander suur vormende bestanddele en wat gewoonlik gestroop is van goeie voedingstowwe.

Soos wat ek in ʼn ander artikel verduidelik het is dit van kardinale belang dat ons water moet inneem wat genoeg minerale bevat en waarvan die pH meer alkalies van aard is. Hierdie is een van die beste maniere om te verseker dat ons pH aan die alkaliese kant van sake bly.

 

Om die kolon nie skoon en gereeld te ledig nie, is seker een van die grootste faktore wat meeste mense wat ek sien kortwiek. Wanneer ons die kolon nie ten minste twee maal per dag ledig nie, kan van die voedselreste wat te lank in die kolon bly begin afbreek in giftige produkte. Hierdie produkte word dan opgeneem in die stelsel en veroorsaak dat die stelsel se pH meer en meer suur word.

Een van die beste maniere om die kolon aan die gang te kry is om daagliks 2 eetlepels lyn saad in ʼn groot glas water te neem. Dit gee die baie nodige vesel aan die kolon om sy ontgiftings en uitskeidings taak effektief te verrig. Dit spreek van self dat ʼn dieet wat genoeg, gesonde vesel bevat sake net kan verbeter. Soos ek in ʼn ander artikel genoem het is genoeg goeie kwaliteit water  van uiterse belang wanneer vesel ingeneem word anders kan die hoë vesel teen produktief wees as dit in die kolon vassteek omdat daar te min vloeistof is om gladde beweging te verseker.

 

Spreuke 14:30 “’n Rustige hart is die lewe vir die vlees, maar hartstog ’n verrotting vir die gebeente.”

Wanneer ʼn mens te veel stres of spanning beleef, of wanneer ʼn mens in onvergewende bitterheid leef , word jy suur. As jy suur word en nie die nodige alkaliese water en voedsel inneem nie, neem jou liggaam kalsium uit jou bene om te keer dat jy dadelik sterf. As die situasie dan lank voortduur, word massas minerale uit jou bene onttrek, en ontstaan osteoporose of een of meer van ʼn reeks degeneratiewe soort siektes.

 

Om gesond te wees is en te bly, is dit dus baie belangrik dat jy sorg dat jy gesonde selle het. Gesonde selle het mikro voedingstowwe nodig en kan dit slegs opneem as jou pH alkalies is en die ideaal is om jou speeksel se pH by 7.5 te hou.

My gebed is dat hierdie jou sal help om ’n rustige hart te hê en dat dit lewe vir jou vlees sal wees, sodat jy jou Godgegewe roeping op aarde tot eer van ons Vader kan uitleef.

Being pregnant and giving birth are natural life experiences for which a woman's body is well designed. In most of the world, women labor and give birth with midwives, as they have throughout history. No matter what anyone says: pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and mothering are natural processes.


Wouldn't you agree that they have worked pretty well so far (for the last few thousand years)? Without it, none of us would have been here!


Natural pregnancy is where, after conception, the mother lives a normal life as before. As the pregnancy progresses she has an ever increasing awareness that new life is being formed inside her body. She may experience a slight increase or decrease in appetite, thirst and my urinate more often. The mother starts experiencing movement inside her abdominal area and conversations with the little one may be spontaneous. 


At some point during the process, the mother may visit a midwife to discuss the birthing process. The midwife will listen to the baby’s heartbeat as well as measure the mother’s tummy growth, to confirm that the pregnancy is developing as expected. The midwife may recommend that the mother has one ultrasound scan to confirm that the placenta is implanted in the correct position. It may also be recommended that the mother see her GP or a gynaecologist that could step in should any emergency arise during the pregnancy or during labour. This, as we will learn later, is often where the mother is robbed of a natural pregnancy.

No Wheat, Dairy or Sugar

In today’s life many people suffer from allergies, digestive problems like bloatedness and IBS, constipation, weight gain, sinus related problems, eczema, asthma, ADD etc. In the many years I have spent in clinical practice, the single thing that have stood out more than any other is the little or no attention medical professionals give to the role diet plays in a patients health. The medical view is that diet is not important as all foods gets broken down into glucose anyway. They see allergies and digestive problems as disorders, syndromes or illnesses for which the only remedy is a chronic drug or surgical procedure. When a patient asks a doctor whether changing his/her diet will make any difference in their health condition, the answer is a stern NO!

I have never heard of any Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist or Gastroenterologist (specialist in bowl disorders) ask a patient about their diet or recommend a diet change to alleviate their symptoms.


According to these specialist the problem usually lies somewhere inside the body and it needs to be treated, but in actual fact, the problem lies outside the body.


Consider the following analogy;

It is common sense not to eat wood. But if some clever marketing is done to improve the taste, texture, and appearance and if people in authority on nutrition starts proclaiming the health benefits of it, people will eat it. Over time it will become part of their daily diet.

When people start developing digestive issues, allergies and other ailments from eating wood and end up in the doctor’s consulting room, they will leave with a drug to suppress the symptoms of eating wood. No doctor will tell them to simply stop eating wood! Dietitians will tell them they need wood as part of a balanced diet. Fellow humans will tell them that God created wood, so it must be ok - how can we live without eating wood.

If they meet someone with some remaining common sense, they are amazed (if they follow the advice) that they got well by simply changing their diet - avoiding wood.


Most problems of people I consult with on a daily basis, is the diet. We live in a society where people will eat just about anything, as long as it tastes great, has the CANSA or Heart Foundation stamp on it and is fat free. Although people are very particular about what kind of oil or fuel they put in their expensive vehicles, they seem oblivious to the fact that the body, a far more delicate machine is affected by what they consume. This is affirmed by specialist doctors and dietitians that keep hammering it into people’s heads that you can eat everything and that diet plays no role in your health - just eat a balanced diet and you don’t need any supplements. 


In a World filled with lies, the Truth is often more bizarre than the Lie


There are THREE main culprits in the daily diet, and the first is wheat.


Wheat

The problem with wheat is that we no longer have real wheat. We have something created or “improved” by scientists in a laboratory to give a high yield, be resistant against pests and plant illnesses and grow in any part of the world. Part of the “improvement” is that the wheat kernel has a higher and molecularly altered gluten content. This is what makes it possible to bake feather light breads and delicate cakes with modern day wheat.

The problem comes in when your body no longer is able to digest (take it apart on molecular level) the wheat because it does not know how to do it with a foreign (“improved”) substance. However, the body is very clever, and tries to do it’s best at digesting it. This means that substances (mostly molecularly altered proteins - gluten) that should not be in the blood, ends up getting into the blood. When these substances are not recognized as food by the immune system, it responds and the result is allergy, eczema, sinus or if it ends up in the brain a range of brain related issues may result. 

This wheat is what is used to create the bread you buy, the pasta you cook, the cereal you have for breakfast and the flour you buy to bake anything in your kitchen.

This is touted as scientific advancement. Further (lucrative) scientific advancement is to be able to “treat illnesses” like sinusitis, eczema, asthma or ADD/ADHD etc, mostly caused by what the “scientific advancement” of wheat brought about - at great expense of the consumer and for benefit of the pharmaceutical industry.


Some claim that they have organic wheat. What this mean is that you have wheat, created in a laboratory with all the flaws of modern science, but grown and produced without pesticides. Although it’s better to eat something grown without pesticides, it still is inherently flawed and creates the same symptoms in the body.


Wheat alternatives.

You may have heard some people say they want to start living healthy and that they are  now eating wheat-free / gluten free. They then stop eating all grains. So that means that gluten is the culprit right? Well, usually it’s not the case. 

Gluten (from Latin gluten, "glue") is a protein composite found in wheat and related grain species, including barley, rye and spelt. It gives elasticity to dough, helping it to rise and to keep its shape, and often giving the final product a chewy texture.

The gluten in wheat has been “improved” by science (molecularly altered) but the gluten in barley, rye, oats and spelt is largely untainted by science. For this reason gluten from barley, rye, oats and spelt is quite often well tolerated by individuals that have shown to be sensitive to wheat (or wheat-gluten)


So gluten is not the main culprit, when wheat sensitive, rather wheat-gluten.

That means that when you are wheat sensitive, you can still use barley, rye, oats and spelt as alternatives to wheat, because they contain gluten that is not the same as the gluten found in wheat. Still confused? Eat wheat free - not gluten free, when Wheat sensitive.

There are certain rare individuals with inflammatory bowl diseases that are not able to eat any type of gluten. The problem, in these cases, lies with the individual’s bowel. Where the intestinal lining is damaged by some event/drug/procedure/vaccination etc that they underwent. This damaged the intestinal lining. When they eat gluten of any sort, the inflamed/diseased bowel’s condition is aggravated, plus they may suffer secondary symptoms like cramps, seizures, total loss of brain focus, severe skin rash etc. In these individuals any product that contains gluten of any origin (wheat, rye, barley, oats or spelt) should be avoided.


In some of these cases it is possible to heal the intestinal lining, and later they may be able to tolerate gluten again. This usually takes a long time and a lot of effort, but is doable.

No Dairy

Raw and cultured dairy products from healthy grass-fed cows are one of the healthiest foods people have ever eaten. However, pasteurized milk products have caused more disease than perhaps any other substance people are generally in contact with.


Dairy is something that has it’s origin in a female animal, usually a cow. Dairy products include: Milk (including fat-free, low-fat, 2%, full-cream and reduced lactose milk, UHT process, Homogenized or pasteurized milk);

Yogurt (all kinds, even plain bulgarian, and with added flora);

Unknown-1

Cheese (in a spread, cottage, hard, soft, matured, white, yellow, etc); and

Hidden in: Milk shakes or meal replacement shakes, Ice creams, frozen yogurts, Cheese curls of various sorts, Ideal milk, condensed milk, powdered milk, milk chocolate and white sauce.

Egg is excluded (Egg usually has it origin in a bird, so eggs are fine…)


So what is the problem with dairy?


The type of proteins in milk and the proportion of various proteins, varies depending on the breed of cow and the type of animal (sheep, goat, cow, etc.).

One of the major proteins in cow’s milk is casein, the predominant variety of which is called beta-casein. In older breeds of cows, such as Jersey, Asian and African cows (called A2 cows), the beta-casein contains an amino acid called proline.

In newer breeds of cows like Holstein (A1 cows), however, the proline has mutated into an amino acid called histidine.

This is important because beta-casein also contains an amino acid called BCM-7, which is a powerful opiate linked to negative health effects. Well, the proline that exists in A2 cows (the older breeds of cows) has a strong bond to BCM-7, which helps keep it out of the cows’ milk. The histidine in the newer A1 cows, however, has a weak hold on BCM-7, which allows it to get into the milk, and also into the people who drink the milk.

So the theory goes that by drinking milk from A1 cows, which are the predominant cows used for dairy products in South Africa, you’re exposed to BCM-7, which has been linked to:

Neurological impairment, including autistic and schizophrenic changes

Type 1 diabetes

An impaired immune response

Autoimmune disease

Heart disease

I do not recommend drinking pasteurized milk of any kind because the pasteurization process, which entails heating the milk to a temperature of between 63 to 65 degrees C and keeping it there for at least half an hour. This completely changes the structure of the milk proteins into something far less than healthy.

Pasteurized cow's milk is the number one allergenic food in the country. It has been associated with a number of symptoms and illnesses.

Depending on where you live, A2 milk may not be hard to find at all. In fact, herds in much of Asia, Africa, and parts of Southern Europe still produce primarily A2 milk. If you live in the United States, New Zealand, Australia or other areas of Europe or westernized countries like South Africa, however, you’ll need to look a bit harder.

To find A2 milk, the type that has not been associated with illness and instead appears to have numerous health benefits, look for milk that comes from Jerseys, Asian and African cows. The best way to do this may be to get to know a farmer directly and find out what type of cow is used. And as always, stick to milk that is raw, NOT pasteurized.


Alternatives to Dairy

Raw goat and sheep’s milk is another option, as these types of milk do not contain BCM-7.

One other point, people with healthy digestive tracts do not absorb as much BCM-7. So this is yet another incentive to keep your gut in tip-top condition by eating healthy and getting plenty of good bacteria, either by eating naturally fermented foods or taking a high-quality probiotic -- especially if you enjoy drinking raw milk, and are not sure whether it comes from A1 or A2 cows.

So there you have it, quite a technical explanation but worth the read. I took most of the milk related problems from Dr. Mercola. Worth looking up some of his articles.


Some people, especially children suffering from autism, ADD, sinus, allergies etc are extremely sensitive to any milk product or derivative, to them I would simply say - stay away. There are also studies that show a direct link between the consumption of dairy and the increased incidence of breast and prostate cancer, mostly due to the hormones found in milk, even organic milk, so I would be cautious  in any case.


Some alternatives to animal milk is Rice Milk, Oat Milk, Quinoa Milk, you also find Coco-nut milk, but because it’s not compatible with any of the four blood types, I don’t generally recommend using it. Soy milk is often touted as an alternative, but because of all the controversy surrounding it’s negative effects of genetic modification and the difficulty in identifying such products I tend to steer clear of it. Another fact is that 40% of people that is sensitive to dairy, is also sensitive to soy and may experience the same health issues when they switch to soy.

No Sugar

Table sugar comes from the sugar cane, and for this reason is often deemed ‘natural’.  Well as you may have guessed, man once again got his hand to it and messed it up.

The sugar (white or brown) you put in your cereal, coffee, tea or your baking has been refined seventeen times! This refining process strips the sugar of all it’s natural fiber, minerals and vitamins. You are left with a bare Glucose-fructose molecule - that does not exist on it’s own in nature. The body knows what to do with Glucose, but not fructose. Fructose goes directly to the liver and gets converted to fat!


Glucose on the other hand can be used for fast energy as it does not need to be digested , it can simply be absorbed. Thus the reason for its fast (and negative) effect on the blood sugar. It makes the blood sugar rise almost instantly to which the body’s response is secretion of a lot of insulin to bring down the blood sugar - but because the blood sugar rises so fast, it looks like a runaway situation to the body, the body over-compensates. This results in a fast drop in blood sugar, and, storing FAT around the waistline!

Refined sugar is lethal when ingested by humans because it provides only that which nutritionists describe as empty or naked calories. In addition, sugar is worse than nothing because it drains and leeches the body of precious vitamins and minerals through the demand it’s digestion, detoxification and elimination make upon the entire system.

So essential is balance to our bodies, that we have many ways to provide against the sudden shock of a heavy intake of sugar. Minerals such as sodium (from salt), potassium and Magnesium (from vegetables) and calcium (from bones) are mobilized and used in chemical transmutation; neutral acids are produced which attempt to return the acid-alkaline balance factor of the blood to a normal state.

Sugar taken every day produces a continuously over-acid condition, and more and more minerals are needed from deep in the body in the attempt to rectify the imbalance. Finally, in order to protect the blood, so much calcium is taken from the bones and teeth that decay and general weakening begin.

So to summarize: Sugar makes you fat, makes you acid - which leads to more than 150 degenerative diseases, suppress your immune system and is an addictive mind-altering drug. Maybe you should re-consider next time you want to take that cola drink on a hot day…!


Alternatives to sugar.

Brown sugar is no better than white sugar (also called sucrose). Brown sugar is simply white sugar with some molasses added.


Artificial Sweeteners also called non-nutritive sweeteners gets their sweetness from chemicals produced in laboratories - NON natural! Some of these chemicals include, aspartame, Acesulfame K, sucralose, Saccharin, Sodium cyclamate etc. PLEASE don’t be fooled into thinking that just because a sweetener is sold in a health store, its healthy or good for you…!


Xylitol is an alcohol sugar. For this reason it makes you very acid, and we now know how acid causes a lot of secondary health issues. It can further induce stomach cramps or diarrhea. A range of similar sugar alcohols exist as well, these include: Glycol, Mannitol, Sorbitol, Isomalt, Maltitol, Lactitol etc.


Fructose 

Fructose is usually derived from corn, and can cause dangerous growths of fat cells around vital organs and is able to trigger the early stages of diabetes (insulin resistance) and heart disease.

It can lead to elevated levels of triglyceride levels, depletion of essential nutrients in the body, elevated blood pressure and even cancer.

Studies have shown that fructose, a cheap form of sugar used in thousands of food products and soft drinks, can damage human metabolism and is fueling the obesity crisis.

Again, don’t be fooled into thinking fructose is good, as it is still touted as ‘healthy’ by some so called ‘health experts’.


Rapendura Sugar is a natural product from Brazil and is evaporated cane sugar. Although it will still give you a sugar high, it has not been robbed of all the good nutrients that is obtained in the sugar cane. This is a healthier alternative to sugar and can be used in baking.


Agave syrup (if organic) is a natural alternative to sugar, is generally well tolerated and can be used in baking.


Honey (raw) is about as natural as a sweetener come. The only thing is that in nature we would not be able to get it in the vast quantities that we consume it in modern days. Honey can be used as sweetening agent in tea, coffee and baking. It’s also doubles as a natural anti-biotic, burn remedy etc.

Stevia is an extract from the leafs of the stevia plant. It does not spike the blood sugar and actually supports the pancreas. It can be used in baking, but high heat can destroy it and the result may be an unsweetened product. Stevia comes in powder form which can be stamped into tiny pills or be dissolved in water for ease of use.




The unholy trinity

Wheat, dairy and sugar.


So the wheat, causes digestive problems and can end up in the blood, causing eczema, constipation, chronic allergies and a range of mind related issues.

Dairy increases the mucus production in the body, which leads to chronic allergies, sinusitis and a range of mind related issues.

Sugar makes you fat, unable to focus, suppress your immune system which leads to chronic allergies and other diseases.

That’s why we say, NO - WHEAT, DAIRY and SUGAR
